Thread: New bug with factories?
Since yesterday, my factory is weird. When I open the input hopper and put things in it, they don't go there and stay in my inventory until I close the hopper and open it again. I see they go in it because the % of the hopper increases but that's it.
Anyone else got that problem?
Yes I have been seeing this recently. Also I believe I am getting this when trying to drop into packs dropped in a house.

Though I've also noticed some slightly weird stuff happening with my factories that I don't really understand. Like I put a 100 unit run of Trim in, and wound up with something like 3 crates of 25, one of 12, and one of 13. And occasionally I'll have a random crate of 3 units of something on top of a 100 unit order (all this is with 100 unit schematics, and exact ingredients for them.)
Slightly weird stuff, but I can't see any rhyme or reason to it. Also, a run of 100 Trim stopped at 80 units for no discernable reason. (I'm 90% sure I put the exact ingredients required in, but perhaps I erred.)

Wait a second - you can do this? Drop stuff directly into an empty backpack in a house? Can you retrieve it the same way?
I always thought working with multiple packs required all sorts of laborious shifting of inventory, so never bothered.

Yes, you can open them while they're floating in the air in your house too. Only good for organization, the backpack itself and all it's contents count against your house's inventory, but it's alot better than haveing 50 resources spread all over a room.

I hit this problem just last night, but I found that if I clicked "Change View" and cycled through the list view and back to the normal view, the items appeared. A little annoying, but no big deal (assuming that's all there is to the bug).

That's what i used as a workaround. I /bugged it, so the devs should take notice by easter
