I've been a tailor with two characters as far as I can remember. I took a 2 months break but always came back... But enough is enough. I'm tired of spending my time restocking my vendor to get a 3k profit when I could run two 30k missions in the same time... I'm tired of having absolutely nothing new to make and to restock the same things over and over...
I'm taking a break, Iwill prollyjust cancel my tailor account as soon as most of my stuff is sold, I'll still lurk the forums though, not like there will be anything new I can't comment on

No I make BE clothes, and it's the only thing that I'm still restocking until I'm out of tissues (I have hundreds left, will be a while). I decreased the price by 30% though, But /shrug it's not the same really, it's obviously just to make money as our choice is so limited it isn't even funny. I just made a schematic for 100 4 melee defense/ 18 defense stun black undershirts and I'm sure they will sell like hotcakes... Make them in grey or green and nobody will buy them. It's not tailoring at this point IMO.

1. be imperial
2. have good combat profs.
3. get atst or find someone who has one
4. group with atst
5. go to dantooine or dathamir (mokks/jantas on dantooine can be killed faster than rancors, generally)
6. reap the rewards of the 26K + missions

Sorry to see you stop tailoring, altho cant say im surprised, im still waiting to see what we get on JTL expansion, if nothing worthwhile by then il be gonetoo.Ive been tailor for about 9-10 months now i think, on and off. changing server but proffession remains, this and BE are what i enjoy, neither are getting much love atm, so im enjoying it for now, but i dont see myself doing this forever unless something good significantly happens to one or the other.

Dang, sorry to see you go
I hear ya though, and of course feel the same. *sigh* I guess I've just been two stubborn to quit, but I do find myself playing my smuggler and bounty hunter characters more and more these days.

Nah, basically all you have to do is go to Dant, buff, brandy, put on your invulnerable composite, join one of the "solo groups" (gawd, I detest that term, and the whole concept) and go kill things. On Bria the mining outpost on Dant seems to be the hotbed for this stuff.

A sad day when we see an "old timer" go away.
I'm sticking it out with tailor, but mostly because of city/guild obligations. And I play Q a lot less. A lot less. I find myself playing my combat chars a lot more now.
I hope they "fix" the crafting and social professions soon. They are going to die off from boredom and repetition if they let them sit stale much longer. You think IDs and tailors are rare now? Give it another 6 months with no new content/schematics/bug fixes.

I am sorry to see you go.
So far I keep tailoring despite everything because I refuse to let the devs win!
