*chews legs off* I hate crafting...

Actually, it's not bad so far. I did the domestic arts tree and novice tailor tonight, and my plan is to grind one box of tailora day. If I feel I can do more I will, but one box a day is tolerable for me and will get me done in a little over two weeks. It's not so much crafting that I hate... it's GRINDING crafting. I'm really, really looking forward to being a tailor. My goal is to get through it with the FAQ as my help. So far, it's been a HUGE help. I found my macro in there, and what to grind, and how much of certain resources I'll need. Kudos to Jess for making that happen, and to all the other tailors in here. I'm proud to be joining your ranks!

*steeples fingers* Excelent. Perfect timing, too—I was just wishing you frequented this forum after reading some of the decay-will-work-in-P10 whine posts.

ROFLMAO! Are you saying my reputation precedes me?

Alas, you are correct... I am rather known for not taking any crap from ANYONE. And I have very little patience with stupid people.

Now then, point me in the direction of these decay-will-work-in-P10 posts and explain to me the problem, so that I may smite them with my razor sharp tongue of idiot-lambasting power.

Thankfully Jeassa moved the worst one to Core Systems where it belongs (go Jeassa!) but there are still some floating around. I'm sure you'll find them and recognize the problem pretty quickly.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do this As it stands right now, both Avadiha and Fuschia are Image Designers. My plan is to keep it on Fuschia, since she's my main 'toon, and drop it on Ava. I'd love to find a way to have the professions on the same character, but the only way to do that is to drop pistoleer in favor of tailor on Fuschia... and considering I've spent the last 8 months grinding out this profession and STILL haven't mastered (Hey, I'm 3-4-4-3 now), I'm not dropping it, LOL. And I can't live without having ID on my human. When all's said and done, ID is the profession of my heart, and I will always want to have this on my main character.

I have a third character as well, which nobody knows about except my guildmates and a few friends. She's going to be pure combat, for those rare times when I actually feel like PvPing.

Sometimes, after a particularly bad client or three, you're going to find yourself running to log that third toon There's a reason I dropped all combat skills as Eicia to dable in Merchant and free up those points on Melva for total combat templatage. It really is a lot more fun having one entirely support toon and one entirely combat toon, much better than dabbling in both fields with both toons.

The idea right now is to have her do commando and another combat prof... I can't decide between rifleman and TKM. I'm leaning toward rifleman, just because they ARE so frickin' uber... but TKM has a dizzy/KD which makes me drool.

It's amazing I've ever managed to master ANYTHING. I'm so indecisive. LOL

There are advantages to both.

Teras Kasi Arist

  • Melee Damage Mitigation 3

  • Meditation (bye-bye wounds, bleeds, poison, disease, et cetera)

  • Unarmed Dizzy 1

  • Unarmed Knockdown 2

  • +250 Damage (mitigation affects your damage output less)

Rifleman

  • Snipershot (ranged deathblow)

  • Concealshot

  • Flurryshot (dizzy)

  • Supression fire (granted it's a marksman skill, but it'll force posture down which will result in a KD when used on a dizzy target)

  • Energy, cold, stun, heat, acid damage to choose from

Personally, I'm kind of curious to try Master Commando/Master Heavy Swordsman. Defenses would be horrible, but good lord the damage you could dish out

Your first assignment is to write an "Ode to a troll" poem. Haiku or Limerick style, doesn't matter to me. We just want to express our joy at seeing those charming trolls around here

Ooh... I'm VERY good at writing limericks.

There once was a girl named n'Jessi
Who had a pet bantha named Bessie.
She's stylish and cool,
A hawtpant wearin' fool!
But don't cross her, or it could get messy.
