A friend of mine (a guy player) wears a 'suit shirt' with trim that resembles a necktie..I have several suit shirts already but none has this trim(?).. It looked great so I asked my master tailor if she would make me one.. only to be toldthat asuit shirtwith a tie was reserved for mensshirts only.. is this true? And if it is true then can this inequality be corrected (I thought this issue had been settled 50 years ago with the advent of Marlene Dietrich) or should we, instead, go on a crusade to prohibit guys from wearing hot pants! (nothing looks sillier to me than some guy dancing around in hot pants... it takes all kinds I guess)

Im sorry but guys actually have a "mens only shirt"? Holy crap thats news to me.

ALOT of the clothing is female only, guys get shafted when it comes to it. Heck I wanted one of those healers robes but I couldnt use it. So... please just let us guys have something of ours.Females have tons more.

Actually, either class can wear the suit shirt, but the tie only shows up when worn by a male toon.

I'm sure the original post was meant to be light hearted, but the irony of a person complaining that males get a single piece of clothing that is distinctive when females got about 20 pieces of clothing that are distinctive, and calling for 'equal rights' is just killing me.

If anyone should be calling for equal right with respect to clothing, it should be the men. Women got the lion's share of the attention where clothing was concerned.

As for hot pants...just because YOU don't like them, doesn't mean others don't.

My complaint is that all clothes on display look like they would be worn by a female, making it more difficult to know what an item will look like when worn by males. And the descriptions in the schematics are pretty vague as well. It would be much easier on tailors who are trying to help a newbie get just the look they wanted if the descriptions as least said 'can be worn by any gender' or something, instead of 'generally worn by females'. Or make everything wearable by anyone (with the existing racial exceptions, those make *some* sense (but that is another post)) - I can visualize a male dancer who just *might* want to wear a light bustier....

I think females get a much better selection of clothes in this game, just as in RL.

Thank you all for clarifying this point about the ties not being a tailor I wasn't sure if I was getting the current information or not .. oh well everyone has something they would like to see improved upon or corrected.

As for the hot pants comment if you read it correctly you would see I said it looked "silly" (I didn't say I didn't like it) in actuality it's a constant sourceof entertainment.. not from 'watching' the guys who wear them but getting tells from *some* of the other girl characters about what they think of the guys who wear them

So the next time you see a male characterdancing around in hot pants (and no shirt).. look around you.. *some* of the girls are probably talking abouthim and trust me what they say isn't flattering

have a nice day

Yep...equal rights for men please! So much of the girl's stuff can't be worn by men. At least the ladies have one item that has a hood!

Actually, Drazic, if you're male, what you might try is putting on the piece of clothing and then dropping it as a display model. When I do this, the display model seems to show the male counterpart. It's as if it changes the look of it based on who wears it last, but everything starts out as the female model.

As for the hotpants issue, it's all opinion. Some will like it, some will hate it. Some like the look of fleshwraps, others think women look foolish in them. There are no wrong opinions.

Heh, well I realize the tone of the post is a bit light-hearted but actually there is a specific item that causes me some headache and that's the sports wrap. Even if they made some type of hand wraps for males or something it would be fine but I hate having to tell people they need to go find an armorsmith for bracers if they want that look. Kind of like telling them the only way to get a sleeveless style t-shirt is to go buy an ubese shirt.

Its sad. So many guys want to wear the grand healer's robe because of the hood, but they can't. I keep getting a lot of women who want to wear smocks or shirts with ties, but they can't. As a tailor, I should be able to fit anything to anyone! Ok, so a man won't be able to fill out a bustier and would look kind of silly in a grand ball gown, but there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to wear them if I can make it in their size.

As far as tailoring goes men dont get the fair shake in this game. There are MANY female only items and from what I have found many people dont trust male tailors in this game. That is why I run a shop for hunting and miltary wear only moddled afterCabela's Outfitters. No dresses or exotic leotards. I am catering to hunters and commandos rather than a gender.

I think the sports wrap should be able to worn by men also, and as for that equal rights thing, I started laughing.

One of the basic shirts with the higher collar (forget which...but not the v necked ones) worn with a plated necklace looks nice. I made a tuxedo outfit with white shirt, black plated necklace, black pilots jacket, and black comfortable slacks and it looks very snazzy. Necklace looks like a pin or brooch, which is the hot trend in tuxes anyway
