I just looted a rug thread, and it seems that they will be used to make rugs through the kit available at loot dealers... But of course it's loot drops. Dunno why I feel so bitter about that patch...

A nightsister, it's the third section, some people got another from a thug or something... I'm just upset that they are only attainable through loot or quests (you can get one from the Bestine elections too).

welcome to EQ in space, only the most uber l33t will ever have the stuff, the rest of us crafters who don't rake in billions have to suffer for not wanting to be a combat class

Don't know about the new ones but have you seen the rug from the Bestine quest? U.G.L.Y.

Yeah, it really hurt to know the new crafting content needs combat skills I'm lucky I have a alt with pistol skills and a guild to swap pieces with, otherwise I would have to spend all day camping the bazaar terminal (Blue Rug Thread 4 for 50 credits really made my day )

And I actually like the rug from Sean, my vendors stand on it in our guildhall/mall and it makes my section unique to me

These components drop off meatlumps and kook type mobs as well. So break out your afk kill macro and go commit mass murder!

Honestly all us crafters should go on strike... I mean unless your an armorsmith or weaponsmith there is no real repeat customers... once some one has everything what else do they need more of everything? Not likely... I think these kits should become a schematic that have to be given to a crafter to make, but who am I... it's sad that I make more money selling loot than selling actual stuff I craft, I find that disturbing...

Iam not a tailor but I think that you are right. Rug's should be your crafted by tailors.

They should just be regular tailor made, or tailor makes sub components and architect makes the main item (since they have had dominion over furniture to date)
