Thread: Tell me, what price are you charging for your Master items?
Master Items put on Vendors for 10K
If they haven't been sold in the 7 days (soon to be 30 yippie!) the price gets knocked down to 9K
Doesn't go lower than 7K though.
Enhanced items, I usually just charge 2-5K over the usual price. I made a Luxurious gown with +24 Entertainment Heal (12 Dance 12 Music) and charged 15K for it. (Is this unreasonable or too cheap?)

That's at about 500 credits per skill point shown. I charge 500 credits per skill point used and am still considered to be on the lower end of bio-enhanced clothing.
As a quick side note. I keep a buncg of shirts on my vendor with lower stats. When people ask about them, I tell them that they are are there so people can get a feel for the different stats and try things out a bit. If they place an order within a week of an under 5 skill purchase, I will take off the cost of the item from their final total. Since the average prices is about 2000 for one of the low-modded shirts, I still walk away with a decent profit, even when splitting the profit with the mad scientist who lives in my shop's basement.
6500 for a Robe of Honour; I know some on my server are selling for more, and I'm still in the process of adjusting my Master-level items' prices.
8k for robes of honor, flightsuits, leotard, fleshwrap, skinsuits, ball gowns, and grand healer robes
3k for low cut tops, revealing tops, and bikini leggings
5k for the twi'lek headgear
3.5k for the bikinis
I'm doing decent business at those rates and that's about the middle ground for the server, I think. If the server starts selling much lower, I'll have to recalculate. I used the tailoring price calculator and played with the values until everything seemed fair. In general because there are so many masters, it's no longer appropriate or feasible to charge a premium on master items - but they are still a lot more expensive on a flat per-resource basis.

haven't sold as much as before (haven't been on my tailor char much), but i used to be mid-priced. should be about the same right now ![]()
My range is basically:
10,000: Twi'lek headgear and the robes/dresses that have that two-color blending going on
9000: All bodysuit type items (including flightsuits and exoptic leopatards)
7000: All the various tops and bottoms
Mine range from 3500 to 12900, I base my prices strictly on the calculations from the pricing calculator. And yay, now I can even make the Noble's Crest, took four months to get that Green Diamond back to Intrepid.
Ooh man, you can say that again. Green diamond. I was giddy when I saw that had popped today. I had some back when it was last around, but didn't know I'd need it later. I burned it making powerups. /doh
As for prices, I pretty much follow Nivea's price guide, with a few tweaks for the market's ups and downs.
I, too, follow Nivea's pricing guide for the most part. Due to some master tailors flooding bazaar with Master level items in Coronet, I have lowered some of my items a little. I offer custom fittings and keep a very nice looking shop with several well stocked vendors. I believe I am worth the extra cost.
For bio-engineered modified clothing, I charge 1k per skill level increase plus the cost of the clothing. To be clear, my Tensile Releasetissue I use has a +17 stun defense and a +4 melee defense skill enhancement, I charge 17k in additon to the cost of the shirt, pants, etc.
However, if its an item requiring additional tissues, say, it needs 2 exact tissues from a crate, I don't charge 34k. They don't get the benefit of the additional stacked tissue. But it does cost me so I tend to charge about 5k for having to waste that tissue.
For items like camo's where I use several tissues that gives two skillenhancers, likeTensile Release (melee/stun defense in reinforced fiber panel) along with Active Biosensors (injury and wound treatment in the synth cloth), I charge 45k.
