Thread: Where does one find the elusive Milk?
Yeah, it's probably been discussed before, but I have neither the time nor the patience to weed through the broken search feature looking for something...
As long as you are willing to "camp" til you get 25 identical, go to creature village on talus, nashal,,,there are three piles of loose debris,,eventually you will finally get enough for a stack of 25. (about 4100 1000 , or close)
Just be careful that you dont get eaten by thepanthers that protect the piles,,dont forget to clone and insure,,hehe,,
I hear (never went looking myself, so...) that you can find it in crates inside caves? I believe the crates have to be sliced open...
You maybe able to get more information over on the BE board.
Any static POI with 'loot piles' 'bone piles' or containers of some sort have the chance to have milk, skill tapes, mollusk, crustation or other goodies in them.
My favorite loop is the pygmy torton cave/borgle cave on Rori. By the time I'm done knocking the teeth in one, the other has respawned and is ready to for me to go into again.
Please not I used the word "camp" in my post, 100,000 for 100 milk is cheap.
And I assure you milk does spawn in the west pile and the east pile,,two different types,,wild milk and domesticate, and just like other resources, it shifts types every week or so.
That's cool. Does that mean you can tame creatures above the usual MCH level?? That would be neat. How does this work now with the new patch?
I'll keep an eye out for this stuff.
Essentially it reduces the chance of a taming failure and when you are taming and fail you have a chance the mob will agro you, When the mob is rancors or other high end pets,,you run a risk of death when it happens. Or you might auto attack the baby and accidently kill it.
The latest patch has added some rare high level babies and if a CH gets lucky to see a rare baby, they would like a better chance that the taming attempt succeeded rather than having to make several attempts and risk agro.
