Thread: Exquisite Leotards have dropped in price???

What's going on? I remember selling Exquisite Leotards for 500k a pop. Just the other day with my Dancer character, I was looking everywhere for an Exquisite Leotard and what do you know, I found one place selling them for 150k each. I bought 2 just because I managed to sell my 2nd one for 300k after 
Anyways that's not the point. I remember Crystalline Gemstone Treatments being sold for 100k to 200k each. What do I see on the Bria bazaar? About 10 Crystalline Gemstone Treatments at 6k each! I buy them all. Now to find the deeds. I yell in Coronet if anyone has the Exquisite Leotard deed. I get 1 tell, then a couple of seconds later I get tells from 2 other people. I managed to buy 2 deeds for 10k each, while the 3rd person did not want to part for less than 30k, I bought it anyways
About 20 minutes later, I have10 Exquisite Leotards ready. All black, white and red (Those are the only 3 colors that sell-out often).
I placed a few in my vendor and the rest I tried to sell through Spam... so far only 1 person came up to me and offered 50k FOR IT!?!?!?! That person even claimed that 50k to 100k is the going price. I refused... i didn't want to sell these for 50k-100k to anyone without knowing if this is true or not.

i ended up droppin my price to 125k... since they were not selling at all....
the loot components drop in armloads now so people have decided they seem to no longer be rare... and it sucks.. trust me.
my biggest seller still are the backpacks, which i have a good 10 or so on my 2 vendors, but even the aprons seem to dwindle on my vendors for a long long time...
i feel with ya hun... we finally get something different, but either everyone has them, or has everything to make someone make them for them

I've had about 10 on my vendor (almost every color on that palette, lol), and they've all timed out twice now I believe with no sales (I think I'm pricing them at 100k now, not sure). It's just a supply and demand thing. Supply of those crystaline treatments is very high relative to the number of tailors needing them, so those are dirt cheap now. And even though the supply of exquisite leotards probably isn't huge, it seems to be much much greater than the number of dancers wanting them.
One thing that I do find surprising though is how the prices for crafting aprons has held up in the face of this. The leathers and clamps can all be had for 3k-6k now on the bazaar, and I see apron schematics being bought and sold at prices like 25k, yet people still seem to be able to get 500k for the finished product.

Its not so on Ahazi. I cant sell any of my Spec-Ops field agent packs or crafter's aprons..or Exquisite Dancer Leotards for that matter. The Crystaline CLothing treatments are impossible to come by it seems unless someone happens to have one. While things like the heavy Duty leather and clasps are fairly common on personal loot vendors.
Ive sold one Dancer Leotard in the last 3 months, which is sad becauseI only had two on the BE'd clothing vendor. It goes back to my thought of how the limited use schematics used to be a good idea. Now whats made from them is becoming more and more common and not so valuable anymore.

I've only had orders for two the whole time they've been out. I think I charged around 500k for the first, and 150k for the last.
I did have someone try to sell me a crystalline clothing treatment the other day for 600k though, claiming that the "going rate" for them was 750k. I mentioned he might want to check the bazaar for the actual going price.

I just stick to charging 30-35k for them. Never had a problem getting hold of CCT's (I don't get given them by guildies). Dancers aren't usually the richest people, as I know too well, so I like to keep those items cheap, still manage to make a small profit off them though.

I been watching auctions lately and pickup up the schematics for 30k-100k. CCT's are going for like 100cr on the bazaar now. I been selling my Leotards for 50k, 70k with BE enhancement (provided I can find a BE 
)

500k for one thing?? holy...lol i guess i havnt been playing as a tailor for long...in fact i have never actually made one...but i planned on pricing it at about 30k...now i know better lol...dang i thought i was being expensive!...

Agreed. My combat monkey friends bring me leathers, clasps and treatments by the load, but without the schematics, there's nothing to sell. And most people got their apron/backpack/leotard early on when they were the thing to get, so there's not much of a market now.
I'm at the point where I'm selling leathers and claps on my vendor for 1k each, hoping that other tailors will pick them up if needed.

It's supply and demand. There is more supply now so demand has dropped along with the prices. I have them listed at 150k and never sell them. I have about 20 in my vendor. Being part of a large guild with new players weekly coming in I just spam guild email with WTB ads for the schematics and tell them where to get them. I have a steady supply of parts and schematics. In fact I have schematics sitting in my bank because I already have about 50 assorted completed items in my vendor. I suggest going to the newbie capitol of your server and find a few wanting to make some money and send them to get the schematics and parts.

I got it in my head to make the ultimate dancing outfit. I got my two crystalline clothing treatments and some nice BE tissues and sat down to make one. And the very first one I made was a crit fail. Lost the tissues, lost the clothing treatment and just about died. I waited a minute (because it seems like one crit fail will follow another if you go too quickly) and did it again, and this time it worked! It cost me five BE tissues (10 total) and 2 CCTs total but I had made an Incredible dancing item (in black). I was charging 500k for them, and now I find out that used to be the price on exquisites anyway? What do I do here?

Yeah unfortunately they just don't sell that well. I've also had the same few left on my vendor for awhile. I think I've sold maybe 3 total since they popped into game, and that was within the first month. They sit on my vendor(s) and just don't sell. Some have tissues, some don't. I think I charge like 125k for them, and 150k for the ones with +25 Ent healing in them. I once tried bumping them all down to 75k, and they still sat there. Honestly, they aren't even worth the tissues. Entertainers will buy clothing with tissues, just not those darn things. It's honestly difficult to get sets of the CCT's, even in sets of 2 to make them. That on top of using tissues, and limited schem uses, I'm not making more unless the market for them takes an upturn.
Btw, another thing I can't sell for the life of me, are the Demolitionist's Belts. It's a shame they gave them such silly stats.
