it's one thing if you say "this would be really cool, would you consider it?" and have constructive discussions about the topic, another to start a petition and have everyone mindlessly "sign" it.
... no, they don't have to listen to people's demands if these folks make no effort to present it nicely and back it up with positive feedback.
As petitions go, i feel this one is the most harmless, and really im just looking for other people that would like to see the return of this item.
This isnt a game changing or a demand on the Devs by far, just trying to get some feedback, and then to relay it to the devs, or correspondent, again its not like this is armor, or Special Star Wars clothing, this is just the return of a basic garb, thats all, you make it seem like this thing im asking is evil, if it doesnt happen o well, just a easy way to generate player feedback by a simple yes or no
The point is petitions are pointless, so learn to start conversations and openly discuss

there are no good petitions. anything written in petition form that actually has a point can be written without the words "petition", "sign", "post if you agree", etc.

I think they should be an "option" or toggle that you can select, makes the most sense to me.

I had a post similar to this over a year ago. Was well thought out and had multiple reasons behind it.
The biggest reason I had behind it was that they already have the model ingame. All they would have to do is add some resources required make a little draft schematic icon and there you go. New clothing to make the tailors and players happy.
Who ever suggested a check box, that's a pretty good idea too but I'd love to see it craftable so you can make different colors.
The sad thing is that almost 2 years ago now, I started a petition either on the tailor board or on the dancer board to let guys go bare chested. Got a ton of signatures and shortly after we lost the wife beater. Oh well.
Based on everything I've read on this board I don't think the devs will ever devote the time to add new content for Tailors. We should probablyjust be greatful that as a non-combat profession our place in the galaxy has not dimished like the Entertainers.
If they did bring back the wife beaters I'd rather see them as a craftable item then a toggle because a) I'd like to see different colors, and b) I'd prefer to be able to wear it as shirt covered with an open jacket than have it disapear when you put a jacket on.
