Found this in the testing forum... dated 10/06

Fixed problem where clothing/armor pulled from a crate is not retaining color customization. NOTE: The problem is with the schematic itself. So any problem schematics need to be re-created to work properly.

Of course I would like pallettes fixed as well, and do not even craft by bulk factory,
but figured it was a great time to take a break from crafting anyways.

I tested this!

If you recall from the last time the patch notes said that this was fixed (Clicky!) I tested white cloaks and thin striped pants. Today I went on TC and made new schematics and tried white cloaks and thin striped pants.

Both came out the right colors.

Those were our "problem" items and they seem to be working. Therefore, I would say that it's fixed.
