Thread: Let's discuss NEW CLOTHING in patch 11.
TIPS AND COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
If you cannot find the hooded cloak schematic, it is under "cloak" and it is the second entry that looks identical to the first. HOwever, if you select the second cloak and click to the resource loading screen, it will have the proper avatar and the proper name.
Yes, we know the slave skirt clips. Bleh.

According to GarVa: anything that can be seen by the regular client on test center can be talked about... since that is not covered under the NDA.
So without further ado, discuss.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANYTHING RELATED TO THE SPACE GAME IS STILL UNDER NDA!!! This may include rewards/loot from space. Please restrict your comments to clothing that is crafted and not derived from space.Message Edited by NJ62 on 10-20-2004 09:59 AM

I want that new skirt I saw the other day... but the sad part is I expect a LOT of others to be getting it too...
I want it JUST for me..

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Is anyone else as bummed that the previously uncraftable clothing will now be craftable?
I have been having an incredibly wonderful time these past 6 months hunting down Robes, Hawtpants, Slacks and such in all different colors just to have an "uncraftable clothing museum" in my house! Part of the fun was looking on bazaars, vendors and traveling all over the galaxy to find that robe in a different color.
Now everyone will have them in every color possible.
I would have much rather seen some *NEW* designs like the skirt or the hooded cloak be introduced into the game rather than making rare, interesting pieces craftable and be available at your local tailor.

I wouldn't mind being able to make a luxurious gown in a real red or blue or green, etc. Or perhapsmaking any regular pair of boots in colors other than what they currently offer.
Unfortunately, excpet the swoop helm, the palettes have not been touched. In fact, some of the Ithorian garb has one or more crappy palettes. I hope to be able to fix this, but realistically it might have to just be in the top-5 process.
2) I have received no official word as to whether you'll be able to craft these items without buying JTL.
