Thread: Tailor Catalog Screenshots?

Anyone know of a site that has a good collection of screen shots of tailor made items? I have a party tonight and I need to pick something out to look good. It's a lot easier if I know what I'm looking to purchase.

I have one too

Mine includes everything I can make up to Novice Tailor, plus pricing info, and some "ensemble" ideas...

I'd appreciate feedback

Thats also very inexpensive, from what I saw - with resources at 3cr, how do you make a profit?

I've got one that's current through DA IV at www.aubereanjourney.com/catalog

Expect Novice Tailor stuff to come up sometime in the next few days...got the shots taken, but don't have them ready for upload yet. I certainly don't mind other artisans referring people to it, unless the bandwidth gets excessive, but I'd also ask that if you're on Kettemoor and you use it that you give due credit to the source. I *am* trying to make a living off this, y'know. :-)

I sample...for wood, crystaline gemstones, etc. Things that my weaponsmith buddy needs in quantities too small for it to be worthwhile using a harvester. He gives me his excess polymers, and runs a fiberplast harvester for me. I also barter clothes for a lot of things, and barter training for others.

I probably will raise my prices slightly, unless the Devs come through with those decreased maintenance costs, but I'm still making a profit even now.

Glad you like the site Calama

It's my pet project...I'm a tailor 'cuz I like clothes, after all. I'll be adding more to it tonight..I'm buying up drops from the bazaar to get my screenshots (and to get some of the extreme cheap stuff off of there, to be honest). I spent an hour last night playing dress up in my finds, just need to crop and post the new "photos".

From a non-tailor consumer, thank you for this project of yours, Jenny! Instead of saying "I need a shirt... short sleeves without a button down front" I can scan over your catalog and say exactly what I want to my favorite local tailor.

One additional thing that might add even more value to your catalog is a small section on colors. As a non-tailor, I'm completely unaware of what parts of clothing can be individually colored and even what colors are available. I've seen pictures of the colorblocks that tailors use, but I'm not certain just how they grow over time or how they are manipulated for other colors. Would be nice to say to the local tailor "I'd like X piece of clothing with a base color of green 1 down/3 over and a stripe color of red 3down/2over" if such a thing is even possible.

That would be very helpful, if tricky to do. Different items have different colours available - boots and gloves especially seem to have a smaller, but brighter colour set. Dont even get started on the wookiee items.

The other thing that happens is that the same colour appears different on two items

The other issue is the color palete changes as your skills get higher.. So a master tailor has many more choices than a novice tailor does. Although perhaps just cutting the color palate of the the crafting screen.. hmmmm

I may also start my own page...

For those of you who have web pages up, may I contact you to exchange pictures so we all can have the fashions on assorted races and genders?

Heh, thanks for the info on the color palettes. Didn't realize it was as complex as it was.
