I have a quick question for you.
Is it any way possible to put a +6 (min) intim and a +3 (min) camo stats into clothes? If so what kind of clothes?
I heard both intim/camo require their own fibrepanel (?) and trousers only allow for 1 panel?
bascially i bought a CA, where i need the +5 med experimentation from it.. however there is a +5 intim, and a +2 camo already on the CA.. so need to cancel them two out to get to use the +5 Med Experimentation..
thanks
p.s. i know about >< that much regarding BE/Tailor.. excuse my n00byness

1. So if you have an item of clothing with 4 slots. you can use one slot to put in a panel for intim, and a panel for camo in another slot.. leaving 2 available slots?

Do bonuses "stack"?
Yes and no. If you put 2 tissues in 2 different slots, then yes, the bonus will combine. BUT if you put 2 identical BE panels in the SAME slot (because the recipe calls for it), you only get a bonus from ONE of those tissues (and no, you cannot put in one BE and one non-BE panel, because they must be identical). This makes it more expensive to make high-end enhanced clothing, and at the same time, the high-end stuff sometimes holds fewer bonuses.
It just doesnt make sense for my poor wee brain

The BE clothing is a bit complicated. Sadly there are no items of clothing that can take 2 'combat' tissue bonuses. You can have Intimidation/Warcry OR Camo/Mask Scent but not both pairs.
Sorry

Okay, sorry, perhaps Tiaga's site might help you further. YOu find it in the FAQ under Catalogs and then just choose the last site on topic 8 it's called TKFashion I think. She has a good description for BE clothes on this site too...
I am not good at explaining and I don't make BE clothing yet myself... :-/

As someone else has already pointed out - there are no receipes that can accept more than one instance (slot)of reinforced cloth - therefore mixing of reinforced type bio bonuses (combat) aren't possible (nor is the doubling up of those bonuses).
There are many that have both synthetic and reinforced cloth - those can accept instances of both branches. Fiberplast panels are not bio-modded at all.
Bio bonuses are confusing - the bonuses actually go into the cloth, so that will be what determines what is possible in the final product.
While multiple instances will be cumulative (up to 25) multiple sheets within the same instance (slot) will not be cumulative.

ah, thank you.. now ive got another question though...
if the intim stat is actually in the pants (from my understanding of your comments) does that mean it will act just like a SEA? i mean, if i get a pair of pants with +10 intim, and add a CAS with +6 intim it wont stick will it? the +10 on the pants will cancel out the CA stat?
sorry, im just trying to make sure i dont mess this up.. spent alot of cash to get this tape.

That should be exactly how it works, the second stat on the CA should be the one that sticks.

Guide for Application of Skill Enhancement Attachments wrote:
What if there are 3 stats but the lowest of the three is the one you want to stick? Follows the same rules as above. I will illustrate with an example.
Tape #3
+25 surveying
+24 droid complexity
+23 weaponsmith experimentation
Tape #4
+23 weaponsmith experimentation
+25 surveying
+24 droid complexity
Tape #5
+24 droid complexity
+23 weaponsmith experimentation
+25 surveying
You of course would want weaponsmith experimentation. So on Tape #3 to get the weaponsmith experimentation to stick you would place a +1 surveying tape, then a +1 droid complexity tape, then Tape #3 on the item of clothes you want it on (making sure it has 3 sockets to start), and you will get your +23 weaponsmith experimentation to stick. On Tape #4, you would have to place a +25 surveying tape on first, then a +24 droid complexity tape, then Tape #4 on, to get the +23 weaponsmith experimentation to stick. On Tape #5, both solutions apply, you would put a +1 droid complexity tape on first, then put a +25 surveying on, then put Tape #5 on, to get the +23 weaponsmith experimentation to stick.
Yes, I know that examine shows them alphabetically, but I decided to illustrate this rule with these examples as the rule is still correct.
Ok, here is what i Have currently
Crafter's Pants
Intimidation: 13
Warcry: 13
Sockets Available: 2
Intimidation: 13
Warcry: 13
Sockets Available: 2
CA
Camouflage: 2
Intimidation: 5
Medicine Experimentation: 5
Camouflage: 2
Intimidation: 5
Medicine Experimentation: 5
CA
Camouflage: 2
Camouflage: 2
I Obviously need to get the Medicine Experimentation 5 to stick. So i purchased those crafters Pants as the intim is way more than the 5 already on the CA with the med exp 5. I also located a +2 Camo tape
So, According to what PadreBook Said (tape 3) all i would have to do is stick the Camo 2 into the Pants, followed by the +5 Med Exp tape. At this point it should stick.
Am I right? Or would i require a +3 Camo Tape? Or would i have to do something completly different?

I don't think you even need the camo tape. You could use it just in case though. Usually the highest number sticks. Since the intimidate and the experimentation are the same, the 1st mod listed will stick. You should only need to cancel out the intimidation to get the experimentation mod to stick, since the camo is only +2.
