If you make a 1000 count schematic and only give the factory resources to make 200 worth, what will happen? as in, will it confuse the factory and cause problems. I've never run a 1000 count before and really wish we could do 200 count and so forth. Thanks.

After the factory runs out of components, you can, if you choose, remove the schematic and reuse it later. In your example, your schematic would have 800 uses left at the end of your run of 200, so you could repeat the process 5 times.

Nope it will work fine. Factory crates contain 25 components, so if you put enough in for 200 you'll make 8 crates of 25 and will have 800 uses left on your schematic.

Except for the fact that the last time I checked, the max output for a schematic is 100, not 1,000 items.

But, yes. The concept posted above is how most folks manage it.

You can make a 1000 schematic, you just can't use the little slider thingy. Just type 1000 into the box.

I believe they fixed this, so your factory will stop after 100 items only.

Sorry I can still make 1000 synth cloth in my factory. Did it yesterday.

Actually, the stopping at 100 was a bug. Notice that when the factory stopped at 100, you could not make any more, of any schematic. Instead you had to completely redeed the factory to make it work. The finally fixed the factories and now they work properly again, and are able to make up to 1000 items at a time.

Curious, where do you find the room to put 40 crates?

Careful with that, Rava, if you're using the storeroom. I've had about 8 crates of trim disappear after I left them in the vendor storeroom for a few weeks.
