Big thanks to Alichai for compiling these issues. Here are the designers’ responses to the top 5 issues (optional 6th is the Correspondent’s pet issue). Our next publish focuses heavily on overall profession issues. We also should be hiring an assistant community manager soon to be in more frequent and direct contact with you.

1) Clothing Decay – The galaxy is saturated with clothing that never will disappear from the game. And because of no decay, experimentation is useless.

We completely agree and are working to implement this now. This should be in very soon, much to the chagrin of players who aren’t tailors.

2) Stop High End Loot Drops – Tailors are being beaten out by NPCs dropping high end clothes. These clothes are also available in colors not open for use with Tailors.

We completely agree with this too, and are going to fix it.

3) 55 Missing Colors – Master Tailor skills are missing the ability to create custom colors. Some of the brighter colors cannot be made, yet NPCs have them.

Currently a bug, we’ll fix this very soon.

4) Master Tailor + Armorsmith Bug – Players with some armorsmith skill that are also master tailors lose abilities to craft any tailored items requiring a crafting station.

We’ll look into this. Have you noticed that this still happens? This is something we’d very much like to change if it still happens.

5) Filtering in the Bazaar and Crafting Kits – Clothing needs more filters and search parameters to find the desired pieces. This applies to the crafting tools as well.

Absolutely. You should see some good changes with this as of last update. Let us know what you think of them. J

6) Necklaces – Currently invisible in the inventory and examine windows. The only way to view them is to wear them.

This is a bug and will be fixed.

I'm going to go with... YES!!! Please hotfix this! Also, the word 'fix' would be more appropriate than 'change'. I realize its petty semantics but you make it sound as if its a balance issue and not a bug.

The rest is great, big thanks.

Thank you!

Decay is my biggest issue, and it's good to hear that it will be worked on. Also happy to hear that we'll be able to make pretty colors.

I can't wait for the new colors myself... Any chance of a hotfix? Or is this a monthly update thing? It seems trvial enough to be done in a hotfix..

Good news indeed about introducing decay and the missing colors

The filters on the bazaar are a great improvement but I notice you can't atm put wookiee items into the wookiee section becuase the wookiee clothes aren't being classed as wookiee.

Would be great if the slots a given piece of clothing uses would show up when you examine them.

You mean like how bandoliers use the back slot? If thats what you mean, then I agree. Perhaps Alichai can include it in a future report

When I was a tailor in beta, the palette looked like it does now.

Here's what I've noticed about the item sorting.

Cold Weather Gloves & Workman's Gloves show up as Misc. Clothing - Shouldn't they be "Handwear"?

All skirts show as Misc. Clothing - Can we make a "Skirts" Section?

All "waistwraps" show as Misc Clothing - Should be Wookiee Garb

All Wookiee Gloves, Hats, and Shirts fall into the respective categories - Should be Wookiee Garb.

All Robes (Administrators, Plain, Short Plain, Councilmans) fall under "Dresses" - Shouldn't they be "Robes"?

Those are the problems that I've noticed in the last 24 hours. There is also the question of the "Eyewear" section on the Bazaar. Does this indicate that we will be able to make "Eyewear" at some point in the future? Also, what's the point of the "Cloaks" section when there is only 1(one) cloak in the game? Why not just put it in with all the other jackets?

Sorry if the formatting sucks, never mastered it.

Decay is fine..... but what if you spend a million credits on a skill enhancer to put in clothing? what happens when the clothing decays? are skill enhancers disposable now? they shouldn't be they are rare enough already.

that is this is my #1 issue with tailor WHENEVER the skill enhancers even work

Q you forgot one VERY important one man.

A reason to Experiment. Decay is part of this but even with decay (and it will almost certainly be very slow.. like most everything else) theres no reason to experiment. We need more things to experiment on. My suggestions are

1: Colors. An experimentation bar that increases slightly your palette selection (or perhaps including the missing 55 colors this way)

2: Sockets. Make the ammount of sockets in an item a messure of good experimentation, not just a bonus with a skill.

Oh, and once someone hits Novice Tailor, none of the tailor cloths have the chance of being socketed until said tailor gets Tailoring 2: Repair

Fix the forums so they work properly with Firefox! PLEASE!
