Thread: haven't sold anything in a week or so
Do you think its my sig? I didn't think people really looked at it.
Do you think its Mustafar? This is the slowest its ever been for me sale wise. I hate to lower and I don't feel like checking for people who may be selling the same items for dirt cheap. Is it because TB is no longer a place to shop?
It's pretty strange.

My sales died down, but they always come in waves anyway. I think part of the problem is Mustafar, but *most* of the problem is grinding. A lot of people are just not bothering to log on until they can grind on their home planet. If you live on one of the "broken" planets especially, just wait until they have the terminals fixed and you will probably see a lot more random buyers come by.
My bazaar/vendor sales have been kind of slow this past week too.
I usually have a hard time keeping up with it all.
Sales have been a little slower, but wait it out before drastically dropping prices or making any big changes. We're in one of the wonderful flux's that comes with a major publish and expansion combo's that leave people trying to figure what to do, not to mention I know a whole lot of people suddenly changing their templates (at least 1/4 of my guild have gone *HUH* and I'm switching out trainers right and left!) ... and usually that entails an increase in sales again after a week or 2 once things settle down and peeps figure out what they need again and theyget bored with the new expansion.

Gyopi, your sales have been slow because everyone comes and buys from me instead. ![]()
actually my sales have remained fairly steady lately. Although Artisan foods have actually been selling better than usual. in fact, they are selling so well that i just purchased 4 full 1k-item factory runs of +55 Micronutrients so i can make some Light Food Additives and do some larger factory runs of food/drink. and at 1.8 mil per factory run of Micronutrients, that's pretty pricey, but should be recovered fairly quickly. (now if only i didn't need a 100k stack of gemstone per factory run of large glasses
)

Well the week before I made around half a million on clothing sales, which is good for me considering all the things I do! This week I probably have done around 100K in sales total, but that is the way things always work where my shop is. One week is super busy and the next week I have lots of time on my hands (which is good because I am turning one of the Mustafarian bunkers into a showroom and that is keeping me busy). I think the real reason for the slow sales is that no one can grind on Naboo right now and there is no longer a GCW there, so most people are either on Dantooine/Lok/Endor/Dathomir grinding or they are up on Mustafar doing quests. Or maybe it is just that it is Naia's turn to get the sales since her vendor is right next to mine!

my shop is on Lok. ![]()
it's funny, an old friend returned to the game yesterday, and i was tellin' him about my crafter, and all the business he does, and he asked me where on Dantooine my shop was (since Dant is always the busy planet), and when i told him i was based on Lok, he was shocked that people would actually fly to lok, than to my shop to buy stuff.

Yea, a lot of sales are just random people who are grinding near your city who see a clothing vendor and check it out. At least that is how it is for me. Unfortunately for me, on Naboo we can still only get a maximum level of 33 for missions there and that has completely halted grinding on the planet. Its a shame. ![]()

My clothing sales have been quite steady. If anything, I noticed that the expansion gave me even more sales. I've had a few people already asking me to make them outfits to match their new cloaks.
