(This is a copy of the list I just posted on the private correspondent forums, I'm very happy with what is going on in there!)

This thread is to report and catalog any TECHNICAL bugs that have arisen regarding tailoring. This should not include such things that effect game balance or are hopes for added features (like the removal of durability or the want of more schematics). There will be a different thread for those.

Here is a current list of Major Technical Issues that still need to be addressed (#1 being highest priority):

1) Necklaces only are visible while either dropped on the ground or worn. This makes it impossible to craft or choose a style while within the game.

2) Color Choice 3 & 4 only working for Master Tailors. Seems that the items that offer a color 3 & 4 choice of paletwork only for master tailors and not all levels.

3) Clothing Not Equipping with Backpacks. Certain articles of clothing other than bandolier will not equip with a Backpack on. While this may be a feature it is embarrassing to be reduced to your underwear trying this on for the first time and you pack won't unequip. This includes:
Grand Healers Robe - fixed on test
Grand Ball Gown - fixed on test
Luxurious Gown - fixed on test

Bandoliers

4) Bio Engineered Component Crates not Applying Stats to finished item on double-click load. This has been confirmed with Reinforced Pants and Paramilitary Camos. Workaround is to remove cloth from crate first then add to item. Stats are then preserved. This seems to be only effecting pre-patch bio-cloth component crates.

5) Clothing Color Pallet Displaying White as only option for color 1 or 2 depending. This Includes:
Fighter Flight Suit
Heavy Flight Suit
Trader Flight Suit
Transport Flight Suit
Luxurious Gown
Pleated Dress
Light Bustier
Ammo Bandolier
Mercenary Bandolier
Multipocket Bandolier

6) Certain Items are erroneously placed on the sort, lumped into a 'miscellaneous’ category instead of having their own. This includes:
Long Gloves of all Types should be under 'handwear'
Skirts of all Types should have a 'skirt' category
Gunman's Duster is not a Robe
Smocks are Not a Dress
Exotic Leotard is Not a Dress

7) Graphical Glitches. These items are glitches visual appearance in some way.
Immense Gemstone Necklace + Exotic Leotard / Flesh Wrap = Missing Chest area.
Low Cut Top has a dent in left side of exposed torso area.
Lekku Ys'rak and Twi'lek Noble's Crest display a white scalp patch on Males.
The derriereShows through when wearing pullovers and very apparent and embarrassingwhen bending over in a grand healers robe!
Back of Decorative Dress shows legs when running around.
Legs poke through the Two-Tone Formal Skirt, both when running and when sitting (with legs crossed).
Silver Pendant does not layer correctly with luxurious gown, neck scarf hides it.
Backpacks to not layer correctly with cloaks, causing clipping to occur.
Bikinis leggings worn by men let the skin appear on the thigh and legs when they move.
Rebel Marine Backpack does not show up when wearing with Gunman's Duster.
Necklaces for the most part do not fit well around the neck and often float.
Jackets on Females do not seem to scale properly, making waist line unnatrualy small, shoulders over-padded.
Luxurious Dress and Decoritive Belt do not display colors correctly from a distance where the quality shifts to low-grade mode. Turning the item either white or color 1 when worn.
Belts and Bandoliersin general do not fit correctly around the waist, usually looking very bulky or floating inches away from the waist. They also expand to wear over the jacket where they should wear under the jacket or robe or fit snug instead of bulky.

8) Cargo Pockets.Ones that are Crafted do not have any storage ability. Dropped Cargo Pockets can not be crafted with. Bandoliers crafted with cargo pockets do not have any storage.

9)Certain Items award GCXP instead of TXP. Certain Tailor skill items do not award the proper xp. They are as follows:
High Quality Boots
Large Headwrap
Sunguard
Warm Hat
Wookiee Battle Padding
Wookiee Traveler's Helm

10) No Sockets. Certain items, no matter how many times we craft them, do not produce sockets.
High Quality Boots - fixed on test
Doctor's Dress - fixed on test
Light Bustier - fixed on test
Traders Flight Suit - fixed on test
Tech Pack - fixed on test

Grand Ball Gown

11) Typos. Here is a list of various typos or text issues regarding tailor or clothing items.
"Patterened" should be "Patterned" in the Patterened Slip Dress and Patterened Wookiee Gloves.

12) Bodysuits, Dresses Jackets, and Long gloves. Body suits currently can only be coupled with vests. Jackets should be wearable over body siuts. Long gloves should be wearable over jackets. Jackets should be wearable over Dresses.

13)
Color Palette Misappropriation. Certain items seem to have the wrong color pallet assigned to them.
Exotic Leotard: Requires no hide yet uses the hide color-range. Should be full spectrum.
Sigled Waist Wrap:
The Leather flap has the master color range and the skirt exterior does not. These two should swap

14) Erroneous Component Usage. Certain items do not follow the same pattern as other schematics in their tree, this pertains to wookiees:
Crested Battle Padding : This is a Field wear item yet it uses Synthetic Panels instead of Reinforced Fiberplast Panels
Wookiee Battle Padding: This is a Field wear item yet it uses Synthetic Panels instead of Reinforced Fiberplast Panels

15) Skill tapes cannot be added to backpacks: Either remove the sockets from container items in general or get this to work. Please.

Please add to this if you come across more! And do note that this list reflects live server issues not test center updates.

Let me also know if you think a bug listed here needs more priority!

*hugs*

Necklaces : necklaces [specfically the Plated and Elegant Gemstone] when equipped with a formal gown or Elegant gown only show on the front of the necklace model, the entire back half of the neclace dissapears. This is on a twi'lek player, i do not know if this effects other races.

For item 13)

Luxurious Gown uses the leather palette for the lace.

Rank Sash uses the leather palette... yes, it's a bandolier. yes, it uses hide. But it's a sash... that implies cloth, so it should use the cloth palette.

Good list.

But for the problem number 2, I am thinking that it was intended to only let master change some parts of the clothes. Samethinggoes for whenyou make plain short robes as an artisan, you can only change one of the colors, then when you get novice tailor you can change both parts. Just a thought.

Add to items that give GCXP instead of TXP: Twi'lek Lekku Wrap and Twi'Lek Bone Crest.

Why can't they do a sort of quick fix and just show the gem or plate for some of the necklasses so we can at least pick the color of the main part of the necklass.

Then they can work on adding the chain or rope string later.

Consider adding Swoop Helm to #14?

Consider adding a section for clothes that are obviously in the game but not available as schematics, like the vest that characters who start as scouts get, or the slave skirt which we keep seeing on NPCs?

Big thumbs-up for the job you're doing, Vandessa!

An issue with bio-clothing...

If you crit-fail when making an item with bio-cloth, and then, without closing the tool, you remake the item using a different bio-cloth, the output clothing will come out with the enhancement from the first cloth.

For example (this happened to me tonight), if you try to make a muscle shirt with a +5 medical treatment synthcloth, crit-fail, and then try again using a +11 entertainment healing cloth, your finished shirt comes out with the +5 medical treatment bonus.

Swoop Helm shouldn't be added to #14... it's from Field Wear I, and RFPs come from Field Wear II. That would be very frustrating ;-)

Please add: no offline UXP for Tailors. It may be that we get UXP offline for components being used, but that's usually a very small part of the business. I've tested this many times... if I stay online AFK for 18 hours, I'll come back to another 1500-2000 XP than I left with. If I log off, my XP is always exactly where it was when I logged off.

My husband's character gets UXP when his stimpacks are consumed and he's offline, or when I use his BE components when he's offline. We've tested this. It's probably a matter of an item being consumed all at once vs. an item giving a trickle of exp over time, but it's very annoying... I leave myself logged in AFK pretty much all the time now, because exp is slow enough for tailors without missing all the UXP that's generated while I'm not playing.

On #4 - I've never had a pre-patch bio crate, and I've got plenty of statless items to show. I haven't done a test since I started using the workaround - perhaps this is no longer true?

When equipping a longsleeve gown, your character begins doing auto-emotes (you know, the ones when you stand still like coughing, scratching head, looking around, or the ones when you sit) at mad speed, one after another, when usually there is a pause between them.

I tried 2 different gowns crafted by different master tailors, so it wasn't that particular one.

I also had friends try this gown and they got bugged too, to get your character back to normal you have to change your clothes, disconnect and reconnect after a while.

When I still hadn't realized it was gown's fault I contacted online customer support by chat, they had me try to delete swgclient_r.exe, ui.log and reinstall the game (even deleted the profiles folder) with no use.

Now I did a /bug with the description of the problem, hope they fix it, it was getting me mad

OK, I concede the point on the Swoop Helm. And I guess this is the wrong thread to then ask for some kind of a helmet that does require RFPs. Oh, well.

I did find another one. I've got a character on another server I'm leveling up for a different design, but on a whim I decided to harvest some fiberplast and polymer and make a novice artisan item suit - casual shoes, casual pants, simple shirt. Imagine my surprise when I found out I could only change the color of the trim on the pants! I thought that they reversed the color on this item so that non-tailors could change the pants color?
