I am a Rodian female. When I try to equip the Grand Healer's Robe, it won't equip and states "container trainfer failed"

Huh? Is this a Rodian-specific bug? Or because of my pack? Or what?

Make sure you send in a bug report because I was pretty sure all species could now wear that robe. I am a bothan female and could not wear it until recently so I thought that all female species could now wear it, so I'd bug it!!

They can wear it. I believe that is an issue when you are unable to remove all items that the robe overlaps, because your inventory is full.

Still having problems wearing it. And, no, my inventory is not full. I've submitted about 4 bug reports now. Still nothing. Whee.

I know I had a vendor sale of a Grand Healer's Robe to a rodian a few weeks ago, and she didn't mention any problem with it. I'll try and get in touch with her and find out if she could wear it.

That was also an error message we'd get if we were wearing a backpack. That was fixed. I wonder, are you using a marine backpack or something else "different" in that slot?

Nope. I usually wear a travel pack, but I tried equipping the robe without the pack on, and without the pack in my inventory. Still nothing.

Well. I just found the "Official" reply, from TSR-Chad. It seems that only human, twilek, and zabrak females are "intended" to wear the Grand Healers Robe:

Thank you for posting, as far as I have been informed, the Grand Healer's Robe is only intended to be worn by female humans, twi'leks and zabraks.

bump - this isnt settled, is it? The official response seems to be conflicting with in-game experience, as someone mentioned, bothans can use it as well.

Whats the deal here?

I *am* a Rodian Female (allows me to be a female IRL and not get hit on all the time, cuase for some reason, guys just don't hit on female rodians, and I only *rarely* get asked if I'm really a female).

I cannot wear the robe. Other rodian females can, for I have seen it with my own bugeyes =p.

The reason: hairdo. Certain rodian female do's conflict with the hood, making it impossible to wear the item. I wear the cute hairdo you see a lot of the female rodian NPCs wearing, with a large hairclip in the back thatputs your hair up ina vertical fan-shape. Purple rodian with silvery hair - beautiful.

Anyhoo, try visiting an ID, and play with different hair styles. Eventually you'll find one that works.

Thanks for the info Greatsails. I'm doing some testing on Test Center with the robes, just to double check who can wear them and who can't. I'll add rodian hair styles to my list of things to test.

Well Kwee and I got together last night on Test Center and tried every rodian hair style and none of them work with the robe. So that's the not the problem.
