*sigh* Alright, here is my dilema... I have a second character who is a master tailor, and I have a line of movie clothes. Obviously, clothes worn by Luke and Han, and Leia, etc. But I can't make Han's ANH or ROTJ outfit right. The reason for that is because we tailors can't make the vest novice scouts wear. I have seen many NPC's wearing them in different colors, and even seen some on the bazaar from loot drops, but I need to be able to make a black one. And not the stupid looking simple vest. It could be called the Casual Vest, since it looks similar to the Casual Jacket, only in a vest form. Please, this is not a hard, or complicated request. The thing is already in the game, so it can't be too hard to make as a craftable item. Also, although it isnt so important to my costomers, or me, I would like to see the skirt/loin cloth that Leia wears as the Jabba's slave girl outfit. Again, i have seen this on NPC's (mostly bothans for whatever reason), so it is already in the game, and shouldnt be too difficult.

I know there are alot of problems with the game, and bugs that are very important to fix, but I'm sure you guys have a team that works on things like this, and who can do this simple thing for us tailors. If anyone has any other idea's or sugestions, please write them, or if you have cool outfits that you have made that you'd like to post, please do so.

The simple vest has a shading issue like some other things that just make it impossible to color correctly

Hear hear. Give us the stupid vest! I like the stupid vest! My customers like the stupid vest! But the problem is they assume I'm stupid when I tell them I can't make the stupid vest. They ask am I really a Master Tailor or am I stupid? I say well yes I am a Master Tailor but I can't make the stupid vest and I'm not always stupid. Theycall mestupid and say they'll get another stupid tailor to make their stupid vest.

Stupid.

/bumpity bump bump......

I'm gonna keep bumping this untill I get a Dev response. (Or untill it gets closed by an admin, whichever comes first.)

Thanks for the responses so far, I was hoping others had this problem so the Devs would see that it is an important matter for us. There are three problems I have with the simple vest: 1. It doesn't have a dark enough black to look right for this outfit. 2. It looks very poorly made, it has very obvious stitching which makes it look cheap 3. It clips terribly with the shirt I use under it.

Now I want to mentiontwo things to the devs. One is that this vest wouldn't be just for the Han Solo outfit, it could go really well with alot of things. And two is that I will continue to bump this post untill I get a response from someone important in these matters. Also, I have one question that might be answered by a dev already, but I'll ask anyway: Do the clothes you get from theme parks, especially the clothes that are un-craftable, decay like the tailor made clothes? If so, then why, my main character has two outfits, both of which have unique Rebel Theme park clothes (The helmet Wedge gave me for one, and the B-wing flightsuit Ackbar gave me as another.) and I won't wear either outfits if this is so, which defeats the whole purpose of getting them in the first place.

um... not very smart.. you can actually get banned from all Sony games by your actions on the boards. I don't think you really want that kind of Dev/Mod attention.

Well, first off, lighten up, i was trying to add a sense of humor to the post, geez. Secondly, it wouldn't be much of a punishment to be banned from anything Sony makes (for all you people who take things too seriously, that last statment was supposed to be funny.)

Don't even think about buying a new car stereo after you're banned by Sony! ;-)

Anyway, it would be nice to have the vest, but bumping is annoying, because some of us actually look at the "new posts" numbers and think they mean something...

So what do you expect me to do, sit here and watch my post get ignored? I will bump if I want because the matter is important to me. And what do you mean by "some of us actually look at the "new posts" numbers and think they mean something..."? Does that mean that you are complaining to me that you have to bother to click my post, but since there isnt anything there but my bump, you just wasted all of 20 seconds looking at it?

I thinkthe point was that there are many many issues deserving attention. If folks agree with this post they'll support it. They'll bump it for you. If your post is getting ignored, it's because no one wants to talk about it. I sympathize with your issue, but it's one that's been brought up here many times. We all want that schematic. But most of us probably already feel like we've said all we had to say on the issue earlier.

But constantly bumping will push everyone else's issues off the front page over and over. Is your issue more important than all others? I'm sure you think so, but so does everyone else who starts a new thread here.

To be perfectly honest, I doubt many devs read all of this board. We've had precious few replies here over the months. But many of us tailors read every single post every day. So we see new posts and wonder if anyone's added anything interesting to the discussion. We click the link and see numerous /bump posts. Boooring.

Repeated bumps are against the board rules, bad forum ettiquette, and actually a little disrespectful to the other conversations going on. Every time someone bumps a post to keep it up top, other posts with active discussionsare getting pushed down and recieving less attention. I know no one thinks of their bumps this way, but in message boards page one threads get read and others die. That's why most of us hate repeated bumping. It takes a thread no one is talking about and shoves it up ahead of the other, maybe more current, issues.

Sorry to hijack your thread! I really hope that didn't sound mean, I was just trying to explain the post requesting that you stop bumping since you seemed a bit confused at that response. I want the vest schematic also and am always faced with disappointed customers when I tell them it's not craftable. But it's become one of the growing number of things I'm tired of complaining about and hearing no response on.

Once again I'll ask you, how am I supposed to get anyone important to read this post, e-mailing the Devs is usless, since I know they dont read our e-mails. (there is a way to find out if someone has opened the mail you have sent them, and ALL of the e-mails I have ever sent have never been read.)

They probably really do read your emails. In fact I'd bet customeremails get just as much ifnot more attention than board posts. That youhaven't gotten read-notification doesn't mean they're unread. I'm a webmaster, and get many emails from random people, including plenty that try and automaticallynotify the senderwhen the mail is opened. The email clients I use have ways to keep those read notifications from going out, I always use this featuresince I feel it's kind of an invasion of privacy for strangers to know when I check my email. Read notifications can be a helpful tool, but I'd never assume that not getting one means your mails went unread.

Enough of my internet nerditry, back to the topic:

Give us the stupid vest schematic already!
It's a noob-wear item, we should be able to make all of those. I guess I understand having some loot clothing we can't make, like the tusken wear, but that vest is such a basic item, and all of the casual vests we have are either ugly (has anyone EVER sold a crested vest?) or fit strangely (the short vest has such potential, but makes me look like a linebacker).
