But, I agree, it's not really very useful once you have the item in your inventory except to save you a mouse click to equip it.

So, it doesn't work to pull them off the vendor and relist, correct? (I haven't gotten a chance to get in game today.) That's sad. This was issue #16 on the old list. Guess it's only half-fixed.

New listing and relisting, neither will apply the 'you can wear this' notice on wearbles on vendors.
it is only in /ex window for the item itself it appears.
and what's more is it is on every wearble item you could possibly wear {icluding armor that you do not have a certification for}

Yeah that is disappointing. While I am pleased that some info has been included, since we've been asking for this for a long time, it really needs to be displayed in the vendor window (just like the stats on weapons for example).

Didn't see this advertised anywhere but the examine panel on clothing now tells you whether you can wear the item or not.
If you are able to equip it you get a message in green saying "You can wear this item. To equip it .....". If you can't wear it you get a message in red that says something like "You cannot equip this item, there may be gender, species or skill restrictions".
Neat or what!

just saw that myself, and happy to see it as well.
need to check if we can see it while on vendor and bazaar, so folks are not buying items they cannot wear.

Just checked vendors, and sadly the answer is no.

Wasn't the point for it to work on vendors? If you already have the item, you'll find out if you can equip it just like you always could - try to equip it. People need to know whether they can equip something BEFORE they buy it.Duh..

Ooooh, yes! I definitely agree with you there. I recently moved my shop of 3000 items and I am not about to go relisting all of them after I just finished puttingthem up last week. So, you're right, there is a bright side.
