Thread: Outfits List

A few months ago, after finding the thread where folks were asking about outfits, I searched the internet in addition to looking at the posts in the thread. I decided all the information was very useful but considering the number of "dead" websites I found (and couldn't find), I decided to gather them all on my computer and consolidate them. Then I went through and added specific colours that I thought should be used, either based on images I found or simply what I thought looked good.


Unfortunately, I didn't record the resources and I haven't been unable to find the original thread. So - apologies to all who haven't been credited. Also, I found a couple more good websites in the past week, but they aren't included in my file.


Note that some of the colour names have a C# after them - at the end of my post is my colour chart with the names and numbers - the colour names are what the colours look like to me - it's entirely subjective.


I'd be glad to add outfits to the file if anyone would like to post any outfts that are different from the ones on the list.


Also, as I find new outfits or make changes to any outfits, I will update the list.

The policy on these forums appears to limit the use of HTML to certain "levels" of posters, but rather than just tell you "you can't use HTML" it lets you do it and then silently fails.

You lose clickies when you edit unless you have the WYSIWYG editor turned off. You can turn it off by clicking "My Profile" at the top of the forums and going to the preferences tab. This will automatically take you to the html edit when you create or edit a post. Keep in mind you will still lose clickies if you go back to the graphical editor.

Gotta agree with Kel there, might have to "borrow" a few colour names (i did borrow all hers (i did ask) )
Never was much good with colour naming so i'd love to use a few of your if i may?

Tralmek, our Entertainer Correspondent, has graciously offered to model the clothes on the list.


But first I need to see about some webspace to put the pictures - the actual list is on my hubby's webspace at a gamers' website. I'm pretty sure I can find the webspace though. :-)


Then - I will have to actually make all the clothes! Take pictures. Edit the pictures so that they aren't huge in size (which they will be if I don't edit them). Put the pictures & the outfit name on the website. Edit the website.


And cross my fingers that I have enough of certain resources.


This is a big project - but I'm going to do it. It may take a while though - the biggest problem is time - summer is busy and has lots of demands on my time.


Just please be patient.
