Thread: Tailors just became a lot more valuable to docs.

Not sure if you knew this already but docs were given a new command and a new item in today's patch (the fire blanket which puts out a flame DOT)
The schematic calls for 2 identical synthetic cloth.
So if you get a tell from a doc in the next few days for a ton of these now you know.

Hey, hey. I like this news. Wouldn't it have been great if we could have made the fire blankets, but the docs would have to get them from us in order to treat it with special chemicals to make it work? SWG lost a good opportunity to make an economic umbilical cord between tailor & doctors, in my opinion.

I suppose that is why people are paying well for schematics for synthetic cloth, so far the most I've bee paid if 50k for 4 of them

what level do you need to be to get the sche, and are the cloths factory made

The only problem with this, is I became a tailor to make clothes, not sell factory componants. I supposed I could start selling the componants asI could probably supplement my income. I don't know, I resist doing it right now, probably because I am afraif of what would happen if I started making them... namely... more tells and more requests for them.

You could easily sell crates for 5k.
I see them all the time in the Bazaar for 2-6k a crate.

But yeah... I'm a tailor to help make people look beautiful. Not provide them with components.

So THAT'S why my doctor customers have suddenly been hitting my components vendor. Good to know.

Awesome. That means more business for me, hehe, but hey! Blankets are cloth and are related to tailoring. That the DEVs did a good job on. I love the crafting system of this game and how professions must rely on each other.
