Thread: AA3 does not do more damage then AA2
Here's what I tested:
I used a 2-handed Curved Sword (75-306, 2.7 spd) against Mamiens on Yavin 4, essentially running up to lair and hitting everything that spawns etc. I'm also a Master Doc so I can solo lairs this way when buffed. Anyway, I tested using AA2 and AA3, alternating between the two on every other queued action and jotting down the damage for both (did not include hits on the lair itself). I jotted down 41 hits for both AA2 and AA3, and here's what I found:
Sum of all 41 AA2 hits = 40523
Sum of all 41 AA3 hits = 40483
It just doesn't seem right to have to advance 2 boxes in Offense to get an attack that only adds Dizzy with no noticeable increase in damage.
Falling down does have an animation on NPCs. If the HAM cost is 25% higher that's not so great, though.
AA3 has 25% more HAM cost than AA2. Dizzy is not noticeable at all when compared with the posture-change itself. Besides, if "falling down" has no animation or visible cue, then how do we know if DIzzy does anything at all ... ?
If you notice on your targeted mob it shows the Standing, Kneeling, Prone, Knocked down sign next to their H/A/M bars, that would be another indication that it's knocked down which I belive it displays if it's Dizzy-knockeddown.
