Swordsman Archive

I've had the game for about 2 weeks now and I'm still learning(working on novice swordsman now ) Well, I've been wondering about how weapons work in this game. In other MMORPGS, the higher you increase in level, the stronger your weapons will become. I bought a sword in the bazaar only 2 days after I bought the game and to me, it seems like this sword is going to take me throughout the whole game!

I find this pretty odd that I am able to get a sword so strong, so early, and be able to use it for so long. It was 65-245 damage at 2.6 speed, I got it sliced down to 2.1 speed.

Can anyone tell me if swords get much stronger than this? I don't really like the power hammers and I will probably only use one against monsters that I cannot hurt with my sword. I'm just interest to see if swords can get crazy damage like 200-600 at around the same speed or so.

That sounds like a 2h Curved Sword, it is probably our second best weapon option. The power Hammer is better tho, once you have some + accuracy mod to counteract the -31 to hit. Anyway, as to your question, I noticed that in fact you CAN get too good weapons early on in the game as you say, however, when I climbed the tree my noobishness n such and lack of credits didnt allow me to, so that could be how they intended to keep good weapons for high lvl (errr lota skill points spent) characters.
