Thread: Damage Per Second question

I have recently started the swordsman tree and I like it so much, I am going to keep it in my template. Though I was wondering when you are a Master Swordsman what speed weapon can you have and still achieve the 1.0 speed. I would be using Area Attack 3 the most I would imagine. I had seen a program that calculated your DPS for pistol, carbine, and rifle and was wondering if there was something similar for melee classes. Thanks for your help.

If you got a really nice curved with a great speed slice that may be possible...swords aren't pistols though and this speed is very rare to achieve. I think that's what you were asking.

Sort of. I was wondering with the +80 2handed speed that you will attain at Master, what speed weapon can you wield and hit the 1.0 speed. I was reading something yesterday where someone said that with his +19 in attachments he hits the cap with a 4.6 speed weapon. Hopefully that explains a little bit better of what I am trying to ask.
