I'm at the Geno Labs as we speak.
Right now I have picked up the following:
4 Genosian Reinforcement Cores
5 Genosian Solidifying Agents
1 Genosian Reinforcement Core Schematic
I need to know what else I need, and should I give the core schematic to myself or a weaponsmith or something?

No, youcan't usereinforcement cores, but Geonosian sword coresor a Geonosian sword schematic.
You need at least three sword cores with an identical serial number to craft one scythe. Don't use 25damage cores. Try to find or buy damage values around 40.
The alternate solution is making custom sword cores. Then you need a Geonosian sword core schematics, three identical Geonosian power cubes and optionally three solidifying agents with the same serial number. You can use any colors, but the yellow power cubes gives some extra damage.
Find those and give them to your weaponsmith and hope that he has good materials for them.

Remember that you get two uses with the scythe schematic, so it would be worthwhile for you to get either 5 identical (good) geonosian sword cores, or 5 identical solidifying agents and yellow power cubes.
Or you can do two different sets of geo sword cores, but then you will need a total of 6 solid agents and power cubes (2 sets of 3 each), as well as 2 geo sword core schematics.
