Thread: why does my power hammer only do 60% damage to lairs?

someone help me out, i don't understand this. when i check my combat log, it says i do "x" damage to a lair when i hit. but the actual damage i do is only 60% of that. uhm, why? every other weapon i have (rifles, fencer weapons, my other 2-handed weapons) all do full damage.

yes, i noticed that too. I can faster destroy a lair with my scthye than with my ph, apperantly lairs have a little blast resist.

So when was the last time you hit a lair with stun baton?
Lairs have blast resistance, get over it

back in the day people used to take a mission and just destroy the lair and ignore the creatures around it then they would burst run away from it. The added tons of resistances to the lair and ham so you cant just destroy and run away making the money without any danger. Once you tap out the lair of creatures your supposed to do like 10 times the damage to a lair this doesnt really happen very much....

if that's the real answer, i have no problem with it. odd tho, that it's only blast (from what i have tried), not any energy/kinetic/acid/cold. you would think if a pile of rocks was resistant to blast, then cold wouldn't make a whole lotta difference to it at all, yet cold does full damage. i mean really, i'm gonna frost a rock? so many things in this game i can't figure out the logic for...

100% stun resistance as well.
