Technique for speed. Then defense, then offense.

Well, i'm not Master yet myself but what i did (and what people recommanded to me) :

2.X.X.X --> get the 2 first blocks of sword offense (area 2)

2.2.X.X --> get the 2 first blocks of speed

4.2.X.X --> finish offense line with area3
4.4.X.X --> finish the speed line

Last column is combat xp, so will get up automatically

3rd column is defense which you dont really need while grinding as long as you have an armor and are buffed :-)

Dunno if it's THE way to go, but works fine for me...

no need for area2. You've already got an area attack from brawler sword 4.

**edit** and the speed does more good than the improved area attack.

I believe the best and fastest way to grind it is going xx1*, x41*, x44*, 4444.

I put an asterisk (*) as the fourth column is based on combat xp and you will progress in that whenever you get enough combat xp.

xx1x gives you spinattack2 which is very nice to grind with. High damage area attack. After that go speed all the away with techniques, then defenses for state defenses and mitigation, end with offense..

As spinattack2 and areaattack3 is same damage modifier its no idea to put it earlier in grind (since you got spinattack2 at defense box 1).

Wish some one can agree on a way to do this as i've asked many ppl about this and everyone is different. i'm currently 3-2-1-2. and i've been told to go x-4-x-x then 4-x-x-x then x-x-4-x. and also been told 4-x-x-x, then x-x-4-x, then x-4-x-x.think it just boils down to what you want first, second and third. i went for the first +15 speed then defense 1 and now going for offense 4 then bring defense up then finish speed. i've been doing it this way as i'm also a CH so fight with my pets.

It's my way or the highway. No really, I am rather sure my way is the most efficient. It depends of course on how you prefer to grind.

My way of grinding is joining a huge sologroup, getting 10k huurton stalker missions, spinattacking the lair till its all dead (pretty much).

For this a good area attack is very valuable.

Where you are currently at, theres no question that you will benefit most from first completing the techniques tree for more speed (x4xx).

After that its not as important and wont affect grind-time a lot most often. Getting better defenses might allow you to avoid breaks in the grind for resting up (or even rebuffing cause you died). It depends on if you have defenses from other professions too etc..

Most important thing is go up techniques tree first, for a higher damage per second. Well, after getting xx3x if you grind with area skills rather than fighting foes one-by-one. You should be grinding with area skills if you can afford good armor and buffs!
