Hey all, just a quick question. Is this template lvl 80? I looked in the temp discussion thread, but didn't see the answer. If I missed it, I appologise.

yes it is a lvl 80 temp, next time goto http://www.bloodfin.org and download the prof calc

ya it is, and i was gonna be that temp, but then i realized 0400 fencer has no point

Ah, I had an older version of the calculator, I'm glad to see they have the clvl's in there now. As for fencer 0400, I like the ability to snare a ranged opponent, making it all the more difficult for them to get out of range. Hopefully forcing them to use up their burst run, or stomach from parawan. But, I'm open to suggestions of what you would take in its place. I like the action debuff of blinding strike, as it sort of evens the odds with a jedi's sap.

hmm, didnt think of that when i was thinking of my temp. i was only thinking of me running away, not keeping them from doing it. what i have in place of it is 3000 tk, for power boost, but im sort of liking the idea of snare now

tka 0400 fencer 0304 mswords doc 4004.
the snare is fine it works great. i prefer the more reliable knockdown over the longer duration snare myself. you knockdown simply MUST work when you need it to.

i like that temp but i have no trouble with my current temp even if i use 3000 innate armor. i guess the snare might help, but its hard to decide, +500 health or snare? and ranged is like half or less than half who i fight.

The benefit to the x4xx fencer is the speed bonus. If you use any 1h weapons it's a must, plus you can extra 10 (i think) general speed for your 2 hand as well as getting the snare.

precisely the reason. I switch between my PH and my blade of nyenthi'orthis depending on the situation (since there's only about a 70 max difference between the 2... PH hits 1388 with a powerup, blade hits like 1320). Different weapons for different situations... I use the PH to frontload Jedi/kiters, and I use the blade to fight other doc/meleers.

You have a good point about the KD, even though I don't have much of a problem with even the basic KD but it does miss sometimes when i'd really have preferred it to hit. IMO the +10 to speed actually is much better than the additional ranged/melee defense (don't have my calc in front of me to see how much) mainly because you are typically looking at anywhere from 200-300 for r./m. def and speed is closer to 100-140. The +10 is slightly more beneficial to me. I personally rarely use the snare but it has it's uses. I chose it more because initially I was using 1h weapons more often but now I keep it because i'm trying to max out my speed as much as I can within reason.

i have mswords, doc 4004, fencer 0404, and tk 0101, with 1 melee speed fs box (which i am dropping soon for more tk... and i'm only at 79. killer template, though.
