Thread: Help I'm taking way too much damage

The greater the level of the creature compared to yours, the more damage they do against you.

with that template you can't really solo pve very well. You will need to group with someone that is level 80 in order to not be hit so hard.

my template is master swordsman, pikeman 0400, and doctor 4004.
im lvl 71 or watever, when i take on a lvl 80 dewback, per hit, i take over 500 sometimes 600 damage, im wearing a full suit of stormtrooper armor, which is 5160 all around. anyone know what could be causing htis, im also using CoB. please help

I'd think that template would be great for soloing, just not mobs that are 9 levels higher than yourself. Try to stick with mobs that are at best 2 levels higher or avoid taking aggro...

get improved COB and better armor (your armor is ok...) maybe a better PH or a ph if you arent using it

/sigh lol not too much pve soloing goes on at lvl 73's. I could be wrong though /shrug

I can't add any more to what others have said but I can suggest this. If you plan on soloing much then I would recommend a Mstr. Swords / TKM with some medic skills. One of the best soloing templates IMHO not to mention a hella tank in groups.
One other thing is that since you have not mastered pikeman your defenses are lacking. Having tera kasi master on that list of proffesions would really help you out tremendously. Not against the mobs that are higher level than you. (They geta bonus being higher than you) and being that much higher they have an increidle amount of bonuses.
Also rather than go 0-4-0-0 pikeman go with 0-0-4-0 for the defenses if TKM is out of the question.

What I simply did is Take up TKM as well as M Swords and a bit or Medic/Pikey ... eliminates the need of armour and works pretty well as well. Your question has already been answered ... I just thought i would but a bit of help ^_^
