SAC is important... i have a high end PH:
2.8 speed
550 -1109 damage
62 SAC (with pup)
that is only 6% damage slice

and whats the best way to go about making a high end one? what kinda looted things should i be using?

For loot items, pretty much everything comes from the geo caves.
Acklay Bones) These add to damage but have no speed or sac reduction (the piece it replaces does) So it's a trade off here that's not really worth it unless you get some exceptional damage.
Red Geo Cubes) These are sac reducing which I find to be the most useful loot drop for hammers right now.
Solidifying agents) these are used with the cubes to make your reinforcement core, they add to the damage (only around 10-20 but it helps).
Looted reinforcement cores) Unless you get a great drop on these they won't exceed what your weaponsmith can make.
Think that's about it right now that I can think of.

even thought it sounds bad, id have to hear the SAC first. if its like 100 or so, eh you can get it replaced (like 1-2 mil for a replacable one on my server)
