Well ive decided to come back to the swordsman profession after i became a rifleman/ranger for awhile. made a ton of money with avian meat now i want the uber loot. my tough choice is this... today i recieved my free unlocks when i went to the village. i took melee speed/defence and luck. now at master my speed is 87 with the speed tree that means i need around +7 or 8 speed. i will have 18 sp left after rifleman/swords/brawler 12 of which are taken up by my FS skills. my question is this... Am i better off with brawler or medic when soloing high level mobs? most of my fighting is done independent and i dont like to rely too much on other people to heal me. thanks for any help

first, FS melee speed does NOT add onto your 2h speed, it works alongside it in a different way (theres a thread somewhere here that explains all).
i would recommend medic, get pharm 4 and perhaps some 1st aid if you still got SP... i can heal 2000+ health and action with a stim D with 3240 medic
priceless against elders/DWB when you're on your own

if you want to solo krayts i would go with master brawler, or you will spend all day intimidating.

honestly to fight very high end mobs ( particularly elder ) you need both
- medic for first aid and stims ( you will not survive the nasty bleeds without that )
- brawler for +5 speed
of course, if rich enough you can replace brawler by speed tape but you need a +8 2H speed to achieve 95 speed cap and use dmg slice PH

Still makes me wonder how people post such ludicrous statements without links to back up what theyare saying. In fact what was the point? To come and say force sensitive melee speed doesnt do what u think and then leave? Thx a bunch pal!
Ignoring stupid post from 5 year olds. I think u r on the button that u need +3 more melee speed to cap with ur fs speed (and ms brawler).
U can have master rifle, swords, medic 3240 and have 19 of the 20 skill points required for 6 force sensitive trees (required to exit the village).

Doesn't luck only give you more credits when looting npcs?
I'm pretty sure that's all it does.

Doesn't Obi-Wan say "In my experience, there's no such thing as luck...."
From my understanding, limited though it may be, luck isn't part of the Jedi training/skills
I supposed it's just another manifestation of midichlorian influence on the Jedi.

I supposed it's just another manifestation of midichlorian influence on the Jedi. that manifests itself as something similar to luck
