+12% speed or a direct +12 modifier to speed? Recently i heard someone ingame saying that it is only a percentage (Thunderheart himself has said this he claimed). So what is the truth here?
In case of a master brawler/swords:
- 80 base speed + 3SEA + 12 FS melee speed = 95
- (80 base speed +3 SEA) * 1,12 = 92,96 = which translates to what? 92 only? In any case, doesn't reach 95
+5 SEA would do the job in case of FS melee speed being only a percentage.

master swords man75 speed /master brawler +5/ FS melee speed +12 / = 92 speed
95 caps an 5.9 hammer so all u need then is +3 or non brawler +8 to cap all weapons

Well, i knew all that mate
I justwant 100% proof (ifthat is even possible?), that FS melee speed is indeed a direct modifier to speed, because if it isn't, +3 SEA is not enough to cap speed in case of mbrawler/mswords.
I admit, most of the threads concerning FS melee speed or capping swordman speed seem to believe, that it is a direct modifier. Still, what was said to me ingame left an uneasy feeling.
Basically, what has Thunderheart or any other dev rerpresentative said about this?

it is
every melee speed box is +3 speed
im brawler with FS +9 with +3 tapes and when i get the last box i cap a 5.9 hammer
http://www.killyourpc.org/swg/swg_dps.php?weapon_min=0&weapon_max=0&weapon_speed=0&pc_speed=0&class=Pistol
use this and and fil in speed 95 with weapon speed 5.9
it caps all moves cuz FS speed comes on top of all melee prof speed

Not sure if this helps or not. But i tested Melee Speed using a carbine. It is bugged and effects ranged weapons. It is not a percent increase it is the first option you posted. Basically like having +12 in 2H Speed SEA's. The great thing with carbines is that at master our speed is so gimped we fire so slowly it is easy to test this type of thing. 4.0 Carbine ... 2.5 Reload Special ... +60 Speed at master.
