Thread: Soloing Lord Nyax: What to watch out for?

I've only tried this guy once, and I was with another guy and we both ended up taking him down. That was months ago and I can guarantee the armor I have now is better. Anyway, I'm wondering what precautions I should take before taking on this beast. If I remember right he starts out with an elite carbine (maybe that's just been the handful of times I've seen him). I'm sure he changes weapons and such. What are his resists and HAM? Any special moves I should watch out for?

how stupid is it that he uses a f'in carbine ... he is suppose to be an uber jedi with freakin sabers comming out of his elbows, knees and hands ... and is suppose to be like 7 feet tall ... strange i must say

He's supposed to be like that, yes, from the EU perspective. I'm not sure if it was a conscious, informed decision to stay away from the Dark Jedi Master Nyax or if it was just not being fully informed other than "omgomg he's a badass". I would personally like to fight a Lord Nyax with lightsaber blades being emitted from his hands, elbows, and knees.

only thing u gotta watch out for with him are all the BLOODY CAMPERS!!!!!! 42 ppl in there with me last time and they are almost all afk campers. over 1k ping. just terrible, im unsure about other servers but flurry is the worst. If u wanna see screenshots of teh campers and terrible lag up in there do a user search for Janee and read through her posts. disgraceful. but if theres noone else in tehre hes not to tough with about 2 stim d's and a brandy i took him down just fine

Lord Nyax was a myth out of Corellia, the Lord Nyax on Coruscant adopted that name (book came out after SWG too)
