I was wondering how well this worked for PvE and PvP. I was either using this Carbineer or Rifleman. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! (and comments) Thanks!

Master Doctor and Master Swordsman are great complements. In PvE you can be nearly unstoppable. In PvP, I used to just stick to support, but I bet it can do OK.

imho youre a bit low on def. vs. X + your ranged/melee def is pretty low. But then again you got nice stims to make up for it.

I think you will do good, allthough you will need to heal a lot more then a def. stacker.

I am master doc/master swords and pretty much exclusively PvE - primarily against nightsisters. Here's what I've noticed after a few months with this template.

1) You are definitely low on defenses. I am always dizzied/stunned/blind/bleeding. If I don't remove the states early, I find myself on my back flopping around. But there are solutions to these low defenses. Good armor is a must, heal (Stim D/E) and state removal are awesome. Master Doc is nice, rather than a couple trees, if only because of the speed with which you can heal/remove states. Of course, you might not HAVE to heal so quickly with better defenses, so this decision is up to you.

2) You should definitely get more speed - either FS tree or tapes. I am not speed capped and it takes me a LOOOONG time to fight an elder. Some people here take out an elder in 5-6 minutes, which is just amazing to me. Other than that, no other NS pose a problem for me - once again, armor is key to this however. My choices in fighting higher end content are to use a high damage PH or a high speed PH. I find that high damage is a bit better, but your mileage may vary, as they say.

Armor: Regarding armor, here's how I look at it. I am right now using 80% elec, 30% stun, 90% base for PvE. The whole suit is critical for NS elders as they hit every part of your body (unlike typical PvP). I pay 3 million or so a suit if I can find it. Why do I do this? Well, because from my experience, it really really helps in defense, especially against high level mobs. I get the best because I easily make up the cost of the armor plus a good profit selling crystals, attachments, weapons, etc, etc looted off of nightsisters. I've tried lower level armor (e.g., unsliced base composite), and there is a tremendous difference. Now, you could probably knock a million or more off the price by just using very good sliced armor, but not the 90% stuff. In fact, 85-88% base would probably be just as good at a much lower price (in fact I am going to go back to this once my current suit decays). Once again your choice.

This is more info than you asked for, but I think it might help make your decision. I was a carbineer/BH before. That was frustrating work lol. This template is just plain fun - it is nice to know you can go up against just about anything in this game and, with decent tactics, have a good chance.
