hey guys, i've recently re-mastered swordsmen and have some questions
Template - Master Swordsmen, Master Teras Kasi, Master Brawler, First Responder, 1000 Scout
i was wondering what you guys use in pvp, i have a scythe (510 dmg) and a power hammer (928 dmg)
im thinking of buying a 600-700 dmg power hammer to use for pve, and using my 928 dmg power hammmer for pvp, but i really don't know what to do =/
thanks in advance for your help, im stumped

good weapons and good template. i personally never really use swordsmen in pvp, sometimes in duels if the situation calls for it but other than that i usually dont.
i have a 424 scythe (never bothered to get good weapons.. just my PvE stuff)
and 650 max PH

well usually i only go tk in pvp, cos im not capped on swords, i picked up swrodsmen for pve purposes, but i've found out a cool pvp strategy, but was wondering if you guys had more, here is my strat
1 - State Stack (dizzy/intim/stun/blind w/ tk)
2 - Knockdown (with tk)
3 - Head hit 3 spam w/ scythe or ph (depending on situation)
usually this does pretty well for me, but it does have some flaws =/

i would have agreed that this is a great strategy.. but since they have added a timer on weapon switches.. i think its kind of a pain, they aren't going to stay dizzy and kd forever, and every good PvP'r knows that states are your friend... something that swordsmen doesn't have.

I use swords in pvp, using area attack 3 against your opponent will dizzy them after two or three hits.
Goes like this:
/intimidate must intimidate due to swords lack of defenses
/warcry this warcry stops them from applying states to you before you start the dizzy
/area attack 3 to get dizzy
/area attack 3
/area attack 3
/sweep posture change...the rest is basic
/mindhit
/headhit3
/headhit3
/headhit3.........

so you guys think i should use 2harea3 instead of tk dizzy/warcy/change weapon.. . .
my strategy is usually to state stack them w/ tk, and then get them on the ground and then pound them w/ headhit, but i do like your strategy too, i'll have to give it a try
any other strategies/suggestions are welcome, and thanks to the people who've posted so far

Do what you feel is best for your play style. In the end it is not about winning, but about having fun!!!
