Thread: Elder Help --- VICTORY!!!

I'm pulling this off a thread i tacked on to, as I wouldnt get much help there (been discounted as template thread)

ok finally after dropping Ranger /cry;/sniff
I finished my template and tried the acid test... soloing an elder.
I think my template is fine would like more def vs. dizzy
Went after her w/ full set of mind buffs and regular buffs. I got her down to 2/3 mind the first time and had to burst run as my mind was just about drained. I recouped my mind and went back this time i faired slightly better got her down to about 1/2 mind but my mind was in much worse shape than hers... burst run. The second encounter i did well only 2 bleeds which i got healed up and 2 blinds which i fought through. Both of them I got them to peace and healed myself up but couldnt keep them in range... they poofed
My question is this how do you manage your food and drink intake... what do you use and when... i have always been a woof down brandy and ahrisa kinda guy and i guess that wont work anymore.
oh and template: Mswords Mbrawler fencer 0440 pike 0040 TK 4000 medic 2040 combat prowess 0002
3x80 comp so armor is good
I'm not spd capped but working towards it

Well....it seems like your mind is gettin beat pretty bad. Not too sure why though. I (zabrak) only need 2 brandies and a canape and its lights out for dat ho. I understand that youre not speed capped....so get a speed sliced hammer, its damage per second we're after here. Anyway good luck with youre next one and make sure to keep her intimidated.

Dont feel liek figuring out which thread I asked this in, but again, why ddint you go back to the ones you'd taken damage off of ocne your mind healed? That's what I did (I still failed, but hey, not as badly lol)

For mind I take 2 Brandy and 1 Ahrisa (33 Fill on the Ahrisa) this gives me either 2-3 mindcost or none, depending on whether i have Ent buffs or not 
Then if i take heavy hits on mind or the triple-bleed sticks around for too long i canpop one or two 33 fill Canape, to regen mind faster - this usually gets me through most things 
Only time i struggle is when my stomach emptying gets bugged as it does occasionally, and then i can't eat a 33 fill canape even though my tummy says it's half empty

thanks for the replies... got toasted today everyone i tried to pull today brought friends
lost 3 bikes but hey its only resources
Tomorrow is another day and ill get this figured out
I'll give the 2 brandies and an Ahrisa a go tomorrow and with better luck I'll pull some "lonesome" ladies

Yay! Well done, it's always a great feeling when you accomplish something like this, I remember the first time I solo'd my first one I was soooo happy

WOOHOO!!!
I soloed 2 elders today. First was a pike wielder ...3 bleeds 1 stun and 1 KD. Second had a Gammorean axe ...I wish I owned stock in Band-Aid I lost count at 8 bleeds i think. no bad states with the second elder maybe a blind at first until i got an Intimidate on her.
I pulled these back to back from the same spawn. The loot was 9x base shards and a blue rug thread
I did the drink 2 brandies and eat an ahrisa and go to town. worked perfectly on the first elder the second had to turn to the canape. All in all worked better than I expected aside from the time and bikes it took to find them but oh well thats all part of the hunt
