ok, how do you reset quests? lol i know noobie question, and i have been playing for a year!! but still, how do you reset quests??

Hiya,
you basically just have to go to the NPC located at the waypoint (3385 -4790 in case of the scythe quest if i'm not mistaken) and converse with him. He will offer you to reset your quest which you have to accept and then you're good to go.
It's been awhile since i did it last so please let me know if anything isn't working as intended.

hm.. if what Gorecki said doesn't work 
If i remeber correctly there is a "planet reset-er" in espa or sumthing.. near the starport.. he reset's all the quest's you've done on the planet (except jabba's) including the scythe quest.. just not sure in what city he is 
If ya wanna reset your dantooine record tho the guy is at Mining outpost

So this means we can get 2 scythe schematics?

Yes but no more and all other quests on that planet will reset as well. Up to you.
The dood that can do it for you (NPC) is called the 'planet record keeper' or some such title. He is behind the Mos Eisley cantina.

The good part is that the benefits you receive from any quests you've finished isn't reset. So if you've done Jabba's missions, for example, you can still go run around inside the palace.
