Elders, even as a speed-capped swordsman, can be a royal pain in the ass (unless you're packing decent stun armor or an NDKed PSG sliced for eff vs. stun).

Go after Spellweavers and Protectors, and Juvies and Canyon Krayts (the 60/20 AP3 variety).

If time and armor are no issue, go solo a Ancient Krayt. At 50 damage a hit, the fun will last for hours. Same can be said for the spider clan elder. For a good fight, I like a good old fashion NS elder. Unless she has a wooden staff, every fight is going to be a good one. I fought an elder with a Vibro lance that was a total badass. I spent the first three mins of the fight doing a little bit of damage, and a lot of warcry, intimidate, first aid, and healing. I bet she blead me 8 or 9 times throughout the fight. Yaaaaaaaah, crappy NS lance

elders are fun and easy with a little doc and master brawler.

anti-decay a nice hammer (mine is only 800 max

) and if you can a psg and you can tool any elder. A stun baton wielding elder was only hitting me for about 20 dmg

No No! It was on Rori, I saw it! The npc before the king is an evil dinosaur looking thing called Squiggles the Purple Woolamander!

Edit: I forgot to mention, when I looted him, I got a nice CDEF that caused knockdown becaure it made my opponents rofl.

Right now, since I have a fondness for dueling, my favorite challenge are ns elders. Krayts are fun, but can practically be done afk, especially compared to an elder. Nothing like an elder bleed to keep you focused on the task at hand. Thanks to the anti-decay kits, I have no problem taking them on since I don't have to worry about losing condition on a precious hammer.

Granted, and elder with a wooden or metal staff is generally a cakewalk, but anything else will definitely provide some challenge. The spiderclan elder or a random councilwoman is probably the toughest thing you try and solo in a one on one pve battle.

I've had fun a few times clearing out the Force Crystal Caves, but its time consuming and inefficient when it comes to loot.
