Well my girl is Master Swords / Master dancer / 2040 Medic and something is totally wrong.

When we tank krayt a friend of mine being a TKM/Master Doc he gets hit for less than 100 at all times while the krayt is intimidated, while my girl gets it for less than 100 as well but at times she suddenly gets hit for over 1K damage. We've tried many different suits of armor. I make the armor myself so I know that's not the problem. It's 80%kinetic/80%elec/70base.

Her melee defense is +31 and I have no idea what could be causing the insane amounts of damage.

Yes, even with all 9 pieces of armor on the same problem occurs.

tkm has mroe defenses I think, thats all I know

yeah tkm has "toughness" which acts like armor..while swordsman are infamous for lack of defense..

you said she wears all 9 pieces so im not sure why shes getting hit for so much at times..heh..all i can say is keep her healed.

It has nothing to do with toughness. My guess is that you are experiencing the old armor holewhich was a bug that was (supposedly) fixed. Going from 100 to 1k damage seems pretty much like somehow the krayt hits through the armor since 80% kinetic should resist 90% damage.

All i can say is make sure the armor is repaired, altho i guess you did that already changing armors and such...Other than that /bug it. Can't help you more than that i am afraid.

I had the same thing happen to my brother he is a TKM we where out fighting krayts then all of the suden he was runing in fear and the numbers poping up over his head where scary! It is as if the krayt desides to hit one person and not all of you!

Yep, TKM have defense bonuses, just let the TKM tank the krayt.

Something is definitely wrong here. I just tried her toon out and fought a giant krayt solo. While intimidated he would suddenly go from hitting 50 dmg to over 500.

Mind you it's not the melee defense because I just got it to 56 Melee Defense from 27.

TKM is 62 Melee defense ... difference of 6 melee defense doesn't prevent suddendmg increases of 500+.

might she be bugged ? I was hoping this was the case and the server reset would have fixed it =(
