Thread: Finally figured out my ending template, how does this sound?
Master Swordsman
Master Brawler
Rifle Specialist
Expert Ranged Weapon Support
First Aid II
Organic Chem III
Exploration III
Master Sniping Accuracy (Rifleman)
Would love to hear feedback.
heres mine which i like.....
Master Scout
Master Ranger
Master Swordsmen
Creature Management 3 ( so i can have small pets , 2 at a time to help me solo,....never was fond of rancors or grauls
Master Swordsman
Master Medic
Master Doctor
Sscout -- Explore 1.
I'm aiming for:
Master Swordsman
Master Bio-Engineer (which includes Hunting IV and Organic Chemistry IV)
and
Novice Creature Handler (up to Creature Taming IV which includes Exploration IV)
3 points left i think...
hmmm i started as a bio/CH/pistol...
moved to CH/rifle.. then took up sword just to 'implement' the other two..
now my template:
- master sword (almost there...)
- rifle - Sniper/Special abilites (i really wish the melee defense in the spec works =(.. its crap)
---------------------
- currently CH (taming 4, management 3)
- novice medic..
.... but i'm thinking of dropping CH if i can't have gurreck after patch.. or even if i can, i'll most probly drop management cause i won't be able to have 2 pets... (some said we need training to call the pets).
was thinking of dropping the whole CH and going doctor.. but i can only go up 2 boxes in doctor on one tree with my remaining points! ouch =/... ah well....
sometimes i think its not worthed to master sword (defensive line sux and so does finesse after 2nd box).. offensive is only worthwhile for the +4x2 toughness... *sigh*... but who cares.
either way, we still have the coolest title in the game (if i get 100 credits for everytime someone asked me how i got my battlemaster title..)
Master 2H for the uniqueness and in your face power
Master CH for the adventure, companionship, and ranged attack.
remaining points to dancing (twil'lek female), medandscout skillsfor field healing.
It seems that a lot of you going organic IV for the C stimpacks.
Are they THAT great?
Looking over my template, I would have to give up expert and advanced Ranged Weapon Support Abilities, in order to free up 6 points for the 5 points that Organic IV would require. Thus my tradeoff is losing +15 General Ranged Aiming, +2 melee defense, and +2 melee defense IN EXCHANGE for the ability to make and use stimC's...I need some peer pressure here ![]()
Looking back yet again, I could give up first aid II and expert ranged weapons support.
1) I've NEVER gotten First Aid to work, I get the message that I've slowed down the bleeding, but I keel over soon thereafter ![]()
2) that wouldn't take AS much away from my ranged abilities
So, with this route, I would only be foregoing the First Aid ability (and whatever innate improvement First Aid II grants), +2 ranged defense, and +5 general ranged aiming VERSUS giving up +15 general ranged aiming, +2 ranged defense, and +2 melee defense.
I know this is nitpicking, but dangit I wanna nitpick ![]()
lol, it depends. How much are Stimpak-Cs in your galaxy?
I have a lot of resources in my backpack and I had to heal pets a lot. Being a medic just kind of happened. It's useful also in fighting yellow-red mobs. If you're not wearing armor.
Master Swordsman (just need Master Finesse and I'm there)
Teras Kasi
-Master Meditative
-Master Balance Conditioning
-Master Precision Striking
Riffleman
-Master Sniping Accuracy
Medic
-Pharmacology IV (I've got a guildie to make stims)
Scout
-Exploration I
Which all leaves me with 1 Skill point, lol.
