Sorry if this has been talked about already. I just received the skill mind hit and put it on my quickbar. Honestly I don't notice what it does in comparison with the 2hand head hit. Whats the diff. What should be used?

Also, can somebody tell me why I get more xp with 2hand hit2 instead of 2hand head hit2? Its higher on the tree but I seem to average more xp out of the first one...

Head hit focuses damage on Mind pool.

Mind hit causes the Mind pool to bleed.

I thought that the Mind hit just caused -wounds- to the Mind pool....

Just going by the mouse-hover description. Is it really a bleed? I don't have it yet, so I can't test. Would it stack with the Rifleman's MindShot bleeds? Of course, by the time I'm using the sword, I usually need fast damage -now- and won't have time for bleeds.

2 Hand mind hit looks like it causes mind wounds.

I expect it does less damage than head hit, andthat head hit does less than 2 handed hit - hence the xp loss.As I see it,mind hit isonly useful in PvP, and even then its debateable. Maybe if you're in a fight you know you can't win, give the guy something to deal with afterwards, while all you have is an incap

Mind hit is actually pretty cool. It causes bleeding and creates wounds at the same time. Very good for pvp if you want to piss people off. Also, when you get mind hit 2 you can double it with mind hit 1 so you can get them to bleed twice. If you are a rifleman you can also layer mind shot 1 and 2. That equals 4 bleeds. I find it very funny

I think the description of Mind Shot says it "wounds the mind" also. It's just their way of saying bleed.

It actually make them bleed their mind? Wow... I thought it just gave them black on their blue bars. I might consider taking this tree after all.

Yup. Got my first use of it tonight. Hit a BH with mind bleed, he took off and incapped me, but before he could get back over for the deathblow, 1 mind tick was all I needed to incap him in return

hmm, let's just say this ok? A master lvl, I hit my mindhit2 for 1400 dmg combat chat. I attacked my friend's full grown frenzied graul once. And before the bleed ran out, the graul was incapped ^_^. That should be enough info for those who under estimate mindhit2. Oh, and for those that don't know, bleeds do the actual combat chat dmg even if the creature has armor and resistence to kinetic.

You have it, sort of. 2H Lunge 2 is knockdown, but you need Master Brawler to get it.

That means I can stack a sword bleed on top of a rifle bleed, yes?

Yes, they have a very strange and confusing way of describing it.

And yes all bleed attacks stack.
