Holsters, destroying other players' weapons, gun twirls, dual wield...these are the things that are in the forefront of the developers' minds. Meanwhile we can't even get them to acknowledge that we spend thousands and thousands of combat experience on a skill box which doesn't do anything.
I can only guess that this is all about the almightly dollar. Be courteous to marksmen and shower extra special attention on the pistoleers and bounty hunters, and hope the suscriber drop is minimal...
I've read the commando responses too, which will make you cry more than laugh (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=commando&message.id=6688). It seems to me that the devs do not have their **edit** together at all.

Okay, I've cooled down a bit after reading that list...even though Q words it nicely, I think the devs are just blowing off some of their issues the same way they blew off some of ours. "This is a good idea" and "We'll look into it" are really not different at all in terms of things getting done.
Nevertheless, we sure as hell aren't complaining about not having sheaths to stick our swords in...maybe in a year or so.

Like I said, for some reason the Devs put a class in the game that they hate. Brawler, melee in general, they hate us.
Now, you can twirl your pistols and put **edit**e in holsters if pick up Pistoleer. Its odd, normally in games they discourage min/maxing, but this is a Min/Maxer's game. Those of us who take the road less traveled get a wanker wagged in our face while the Devs giggle.
The least they could do is let us twirl our swords something fancy.

The one thing that really gets me pissed off is that pistoleers ask for their ability to damage other players' weapons...and the devs give it to them. If you think there is nothing wrong with this, then you must be a pistoleer. I shouldn't even have to begin describing what is wrong with that.

Let's think of what combat professions we will have in SWG 2:
Gunfighter
Pistol Clubman
Pistol Sniper
Rocket Pistoleer
Bounty Hunter
Naturally, Bounty Hunters will dominate PvP because killing people is the only thing Bounty Hunters do. As opposed to a pistoleer.
*sigh*

Well, remember, Pistoleers exist to twirl their guns about something fancy and with big flourishes put them in shiny holsters.
They will be the new entertainers.
