Thread: I'm considering dropping bio-engineer and rifleman to go swordsman...
...no reason in particular, no reason, except the fact that a good friend of mine, whom I haven't played with in an MMO since the early days of EQ, got the game last week and made a brawler to become a TKA. After he saw Holo (or was it Q's) response about not bringing a knife to a gunfight, he got disgruntled and canceled his account.
I'm trying to show some support to get him back by picking a melee class myself, and large swords are something all my toons throughout the various MMO's have used.
How do you all feel about the profession?
swordsman is a lot of fun. you can get the most xp in groups if you are hunting creatures that dont kill you instantly. also you die a lot. and you suck in pvp. otherwise it's cool. great if youare scout and want to harvest a lot of resources.
and you look the coolest =)
