Swordsman Archive

I've been thinking about my character in roleplaying terms, and I think swordsman would fit him way better than TKA. Now, with the gigantor nerf that hit TKA, I'm thinking I might just switch... but, I know nothing of the swordsman class. Since I've invested a lot of time and effort in the TKA class, I'm curious what all your takes are on swordsman. How useful are the styles? How is the damage and speed compared to other classes? I'm probably going in to 2hnd sword -- how are the currently available 2h swords in terms of variety and quality?

You are gonna want to look for a 50-250+ 3.0 ish sword. THere are better ones out there but that one wont cost you an arm and a leg. Ive heard of 300+ with slicing...

They are kinetic damage and medium armor piercing

Also look for a power hammer, damage is lower, speed is worse, but its also medium armor piercing and is blast damage...good vs those tough beasties on dantooine and such.
