I want to suggest that sweep for swordsman should be a knockdown move for us. Hence the name "Sweep" as in sweeping you off your opponents feet. It just doesn't make any sence to have to skill tree lines to be the same dumb move.

In pikeman, there sweep1 + sweep2 moves are knockdowns as a move. One for single target k.d. and one for multiple target knockdown.

Swordsmen are the same but just posture down effect. What's the purpose of having this when haveing area attacks1-3?

take a look http://www.swgcenter.com/info/SpecialMove.asp?ID=94

Next time this is suggested to be changed. Please suggest sweep to be changed to a knockdown.

I don't understand how a bullet from a bounty hunter can give a kd but a melee master swordsman can't do that. lol, I don't post much but I talk to people about this online while playing with my other melee buddies; we all thought it was a good idea to mention on the forums maybe something wil get heard.

Happy hunting fellas.

You can get Master Brawler and get Two-Hand Lunge 2. It's a knockdown that can be done from 15m away. It's really a great move, MBrawler is overlooked far too often.

As a Master Swordsman, I feel your pain. We do have too many moves that are way too similiar. KD would be nice in our sweeps but in doing that you are taking away one of the few reasons to be a pikeman over another melee class. As for Master Brawler, if you have the skill points to do it then I would. 2-Handed Lunge 2 + 1-Handed Dizzy 1 makes a great combo to keep someone on the ground. Even if you just have a few skill points to spare, you can get a few of the 1-handed boxes so you can get the dizzy attack and then combine that with a posture change move and it works well. MBrawler is way overlooked those moves plus Intimidate 2, Warcry 2, and Berserk 2 make it an awesome move to pair with any elite melee profession. I know this isn't what you wanted to hear though. Just my 2 cents.
