Thread: Spin attack Vs. Area Attack?
Just from what I have noticed (I could be wrong, a lot of factors involved), it seems that spin attack seems to do more damage and hit more frequently then area attack does. The difference is that area attack likes to knock critters on their butts while spin attack just cuts them up. Usually what I do in a fight is walk up, hit area attack (an hope it lowers the critter's posture) then follow with two spin attacks. If area attack lowers the thing's posture then spin attack hits real hard sometimes. I nice easy combo. Spin attack doesn't seem to take quite as much HAM as area attack does either. Hope that helps, and if I am wrong then please correct me.
i use the same combo, area attack, followed by two spins, if your lucky, they will change posture on the area, and you will hit much harder with the first spin, and second one, if anyones left, will finish them off usually....
The main dif in the two is the posture change, according to the holo, targets in kneel or prone are more vulnerable to melee attacks, so if you succed to change thier posture on thearea one, and spin on the second, your result should be a nice circle around you of dead things.....
