Thread: Thinking of taking up Swordsman, but still want to be a Doc.
. Anyway, ikinda thoughtit was destiny or something so off i went, but now i here the same complaining that i heard in the pistoleer forums on the nerfing of bleeds. This was a little damaging to the pistoleer but not as bad as some would think.As of right now, Swordsman is a PvE only class. You CAN be a master swordsman and master doctor. As for the bleed nerf, it will make leveling swords extremely difficult. However, Swordsman will still kick ass in fort tusken type situations with spin attack 2. I would wait for the combat pass before deciding. Right now you can become a master TKA with doctor and become an unstoppable killing machine. Don't come crying to me when TKA gets nerfed though.
I was the same and i found leveling 2h sword easy as a doc. Great thing is you can always buff yourself, cure poison/disease, and remove status affects. If your not a wookiee get yourself some high kinentic armor and pound away on dantooine or dathomir. Great thing about dantooine is pikets and bols give herb meat. If you have a good spawn your meat needs for chem release mechs are over.
As for the bleed nerf i never really used bleeds since i would usually killwhatever i was hitting before the bleeds could do some serious damage.

I am a Master Doc, Master Medic, Scout 4-0-4-0, and SwordsMans 0-0-1-1.
I love swordsman. My job when it comes time to PVP is not to deal out dmg, but to keep the troops alive.
Now, when that MTKA comes up on me, I have some defenses. Personally I have seen many a swordsman own the dabblers that were using the "god" template before pre patch 6. Now those people get there arse handed to them.
I will be dropping most of scout to get master swordsman, and bring the fun back into the game for myself.
In my opinion personally, With dropping your stats down completely on all Health and Action including sub-stats, and complely raising my Mind stats, I find that I am a tough bugger come PVP.
Now the difference is, Ubesse is for PVE, and Composite if for PVP. I armor myself to the hilt and go out swinging.
On Bria the GCW is alive and well, and there are base defenses or raids almost everynight. So I get alot of use out of this charactor.
