Thread: Ok, question on making a good PVP template, please help
If u COB then burst run to th target they wont be able to hit u much before u get to them so the ranged Migitation dont matter.
Mine:
Master Brawler
TKM
Master Swordsman
Fencer 3-4-4-0
Melee defense: 141
Range defense:124 (wearing an aaukuan ring)

def vs intimidate:50
def vs kd: 95
def vs post. change: 90
def vs stun: 75
Im a zabrak so i have +10 to stun, intimidate, and dizzy to begin with.
You might wanna go master fencer and tk 4-3-0-4 instead but I personally like TKM better, personal preference ![]()
MY template is Master Swordman Master fencer , tka 4002 , pikeman 0030 and master bralwer , ive also nearly maxed speedcap, now this is a very good template in pvp and im quite hard to take down , i dont bother with ranged migration as i normaly can get close enough to kill them first ,

Dont worry too much about Combat Medics, they will be getting hit hard soon enough. Being able to throw poison and disease as far as a rifle just doesnt wash.
well, if ur all brawler ur gonna be good against a fairly large portion of the pvp world but youllnever be able to beat the top of the line ranged guys. they r just too smart, and they wont fall for some nifty tactics like most ppl will. u will not get close to them. of course there are a few exceptions, like in th emiddle of a battle or something, but even then its unlikely.
so if u wanna be able to have a fighting chance against everyone id say some ranged is needed.
but for their purpose, of these all brawler templates will serve u very well.
I personally don't see the appeal of fencer except for the defensive mods. I've never seen a fencer do much damage to another melee or comparable mind damage to a swordsman. With 400power stim Bs, random pool hits just aren't that great.
For pure melee I'd suggest MSwords MPike MBrawler 4003TKA Novice Medic
Pikes have insane DoT potential if you prefer hit and runs or if you can land 1 hit on ranged before they kite you. Lunge2 is just plain awesome. Also try stack DoT/Warcry 2/Peace. CMs won't be that hard in straight duels, when they lag from the throw animation hit them with a dizzy/KD, apply a DoT and spam Headhit 3, when they stand up hit a lunge 1 for a little bit more damage and meditate after they are dead.
This also makes you good in raids with a sweeping KD. Any downfalls of accuracy can be madeup by foods and properly crafted weapons.

Very nice build. I do the same but with 3400 fencer instead and novice medic. Never lost a duel yet due to anything but goodDoT weapons.
The one weakness in your build right here are (MB+)MF+Doc, they can heal intimidate, stun and blindwhich makes the PH almost impossible to use. And an unintimidated fencer with an acklay baton hits pretty hard so you almost need some medic to take them down.
So medic would be good to have. My personal preference ![]()
