Thread: New to swords, have a question on weapon certs.

I have been shoping for swords and under 2-handed swords for vendors I see lots of weapons I cant find certs for. Like 2-h katana, etc. Are these for swords? If so when do you get them? Thanks!

make sure you're looking at the proper name of crafter item: 'variation of:'
There is not 2-h katana in the game, but the 2-h curved sword is very much like a RL katana. You get that particular certification at 2-h 2 If I remember correctly. If you click on the skill boxes it'll will tell you what certifications you can get.
I would mostly focus on 3 weapons though: the 2-h curved sword, the power hammer (at novice) and the scythe (at finesse 3 I think). Those are the only weapons you'll need.
